An illegal immigrant is an illegal immigrant. It’s ok to mention that status because they should not be at the girls house to begin with

So, one of them was carrying a firearm, and had broken into someone's home, and yet it was only revealed that they had the firearm afterwards?

Surely, they could easily have drawn the firearm, even if they intended only to use it to threaten?

A home invader is a home invader. Surely even the police would not have immediately known that they were illegal immigrants? Even if they look it up on an FBI database, an illegal immigrant wouldn't be documented, so there wouldn't be any entry for them, would there?

And there is the issue that this was Montana, adjacent to the Northern border of the US. Were the illegal immigrants Canadians, perhaps?

Also, illegal immigrants would be fairly obvious as strangers in smaller populations. Usually they would fare better and be better hidden in the relative anonymity of a large city. The most populous city in Montana is Billings, which even including its suburbs, only has about 160 thousand people.

And here you are, suggesting that they were rapists now? Can you see how the BS escalates freely in your narrative? I bet you, they were unkind to their mother, too, and were international terrorists, and wanted to sell the girl as a slave overseas in their vast people smuggling drug cartel, and were carrying a suitcase thermonuclear device, and poison to put into the town water, and they were jay walking while in her home, that she had bought from her cruel and indifferent father, who refused to feed her anything but shotgun shells and granola, and ran a trucking company stealing Maple Syrup across the border. Oh, the humanity!

She shot one perpetrator, on the second floor (he had gone up the stairs), killing him and the other perpetrator sounds like he was fleeing. He bled-out in the street. So one shooting was defensive.

Not even going to try and argue whether or not guns save lives on ATS.

As a poster from a country that doesn't allow their citizens to carry guns it would be way too easy to post statistics on gun violence and death and argue how it is safer to ban guns.

The fact of the matter is, in any country on this planet you can get a gun. It's usually the bad guys who know how to get them and as an upstanding citizen you are left defenseless waiting for help to arrive.

So their really isn't any argument one can come up with to say that the right to bear arms is ridiculous.

I think the real problem here is the ease with which somebody can obtain a gun in America.

I come from a country with a strict ban on firearms. Of course anybody can obtain a gun if they really wanted to but you would have to have connections and cash. Usually the people carrying guns here aren't going to invade homes. They use it to shoot other criminals or other high profile targets.

In this story two illegal immigrants are robbing a home to maybe score some quick loot....that means the tools they use aren't that expensive or hard to get by.
