You can not honestly say this 'audit' is secure and unbiased.

Single pens.

Placed on table AFTER morning inspection.

Caught by counter inspection upon arriving at tables.

BEFORE any ballots were removed from cage.

Under watchful eyes of observers from all parties.

And ALL on camera.

Streamed to everyone.

PROCEDURES WORKED.

PINK shirts were unable to get audit staff to use improper color.

Or even to get staff to begin working until improper colors were removed.



Others have attempted same smear on original thread.

That's not how it works and you know it. You make the claim, the burden of proof is on you: you do your own homework not the other way around...

You're right, and I do know it, and I almost always do provide links for informational purposes, not to prove anything. People will take it for what it's worth. And if I expected any reasonable discussion or debate for my efforts, I would have done it this time. But I already know not to expect that, so I'm just not inclined to do so.

Especially because I have looked for similar before, and specifically official statements from the Senate regarding the problem immediately after they happened, and it's near impossible because they've been buried with countless rehashes of the incident but with little or no mention of the Senate's response. I'm not going through that much trouble for a point of minutiae for a petty argument.

That is if you want to remain credible.

If my credibility rests on this particular incident alone, then so be it. Providing links is helpful and informative and courteous, but that should only be a starting point, not the end all and be all.

This is petty. If you can prove that it was the auditor that provided those pens, then make that point. If you cannot, then it is just as likely that the pens were produced by troublemakers trying to discredit the audit.

Further, if you cannot show where those pens were actually used, actually invalidating ballots, then my point still stands: The problem was observed, identified, reported, and corrected.

Nothing you have produced contradicts my point in any way.

I stated that the auditors were told any color except black pens were okay. The auditors thought blue pens would be okay to use and did have blue pens available. The blue pens were observed, reported, and replaced.

I did not know about the second incident until you brought it to my attention. (Shame on me! Hanging my head in shame!!!)

And now, I am done with this pettiness. Our words will just have to stand on their own merit. You have made it clear that you do not trust the auditor, nor the auditor's ultimate findings, and why. Thank you for contributing.

This was never about any reasonable discussion, making any significant point, or any intellectual honesty at all.

I expect spin doctors to spin the data, invent facts and claim proof of wrong doing.

Right now, for example, the only findings that have been announced is that they have found "irregularities". Irregularities don't equal wrong doing, fraud or incompetency, but they will spin those irregularities to create doubt and ensure confirmation bias.

Yes, that's been pretty much established. Some will believe what they want to believe even with evidence to the contrary.

If the auditors find no problems, then some will say the results were rigged, the auditors were paid off, the guilty destroyed the evidence of their fraud, and probably lots more creative reasons I haven't heard or thought of.

I still think the vast majority will look at the report, thoughtfully and reasonably consider the findings (including their methods and procedures), and accept the facts where facts can be and are established. Whatever they may be.
