Can't remember the last time I sat and watched two whole games live back to back like that and enjoyed it.

Football as it should be, a joy to watch.
Each and every one of them was a credit to themselves, the game and their respective country's.

Southgate will put a stop to all that tomorrow and we'll all be bored frigging stiff watching England play the most boring, drab football imaginable.

Er, so the day has arrived. The big match. The knockout phase has been brilliant so far. Plenty of goals, action, even a penalty shootout.
And then comes Southgate. He's putting a stop to all that goalmouth action. All those runs down the wing beating 2/3 players? None of that. Shots from outside the area? None of that.

But yiz dont care as long as you get the result at the end of the day.

Well, was going to predict a bore draw 0-0.
But I think it'll be 1-0.
Who to?
I have no idea, I think it could go either way.
No matter what it'll be a close game.

Southgate has predictably set up not to lose.

I am very much of the 'you score 4 we'll score 5' school of thought.
Outdated I know.

Thing is, Germany will make the best of a relatively poor group of players.
England will waste what is a good group of players.

Its nice to see Germans at least making an attempt at humour....as usual they're pretty crap at it.
I just wish they were as crap at football!

We like Germans, they aren't our biggest rivals.
For me that distinction goes to either France or Argentina - with them two its more than just football.
Then we get Scotland and probably Germany.

We've got quality and a united squad plus we have home advantage for the Semi Final and the Final , I see no reason why we can't win it.
