Well, I think you're confusing some things related to culture and class here. You've chosen an interesting (perhaps unintentional) way to do it too!
I've worked for years with both Muslim and Indian cultures, in Asia, in a former British Colony to boot, so I speak from experience.
On the one hand you have Sikh's who have built nearly their entire culture around money and they've been quite successful at it too. If your name is "Singh" your family heritage demands you will go work in the financial world, in one form or another. So, is this culture, or class? On the other hand, common Muslims, even in British culture, do not place the same emphasis on money. However, I would put forth they are even more family oriented than the Indian culture. Consequently, they generally reside in a different class than the Singh's of the world. So, once again, is this class or culture?
I would argue it's a little bit of both.

So no we can't get rid of it, we just need to define or more accurately for what it really is.
Racism does exist, it always will and our own governments have for several decades now been racist against our own Ethnic British kid's - especially the poor ones.

Hopefully, by then in the UK, we will see differences in colour and creed become meaningless.
Be up the same to similar avenue as the daft arsed Catholic vs Protestant mentality that dominated our society for the better part of 500 years, meaning nobody in there right mind in 2050 gives a rats arse any longer.
Granted its probably a bit of a pipe dream but look how much the world has changed since the turn of the millennium.

Very good point but remember the Media in the UK are legislated to a great degree by the Government and Government guidelines, I would still blame Government for this.
Despite my dislike of the Tory's at least they are speaking the truth about this one matter and maybe it will get something done about it now but I would definitely not hold my breath as this bunch are big on statements and small on actions.

According to the data in the Original Post there is still a huge disparity between Asians and non-Asians.

I am not disputing the disparity. There will always be one, because it is a herding tool that allows them control.

In a new report by UK ministers, poor white kids are far worse of in terms of getting into higher education, than any other ethnic group. As far as the numbers....poor Asian kids are around 60% and poor white kids are 16% likely to go to higher education.
This is what I and others have been saying for years. It aint race....its class. To further break it down, rural peeps got it even worse off than city peeps.
Its the same in the US I bet.
One minister goes so far as to as to say the term white privilidge should be abolished.

Not surprising you see ethnicity first. Keep revealing yourself.

That shows me that it is about ethnicity, which is a thing when it comes to how each one handles certain aspects of society. I suspect the numbers would be similar here being that Asian culture places a higher value on the family unit and education than most others.
