Singer Wants to Change US Flag. White Stripes Don't Adequately Represent BIPOC

Singer Macy Gray finds US Flag racist. The white stripes don't represent the skin colors of America. Yes. This is real.

The white stripes on our flag are generally meant to symbolize purity and innocence. I have been unable to find any source suggesting it is related to the skin color of our founding fathers or anyone else's skin color. Not sure where she's coming up with her stance.

Oh, also, there needs to be 52 stars. One for DC and one for PR. According to her, their statehoods are being repressed due to the likelihood their legislative representatives would be black and Hispanic respectively.

Yet another mouthpiece pushing for the fall of the American empire.

Nobody is changing the American flag because this nitwit says she doesn’t like it.

I can't wait for them to complain about white socks and underwear. Quite frankly, maybe the complainers shouldn't wear white clothing, drive white cars or wear white hats. Because they would then be....hypocrites.

Don’t know what's more insane, the fact that she is serious about it, or the fact that there’s people out there who take her serious.

Nothing is holy these days anymore, everything needs to change regardless what or why. Only progress matters.

Well, she couldn't churn out any decent music that didn't sound like she'd just rolled out of bed, so I see she's trying her hand at attempting to sound enlightened & superior.

I think these try-hard stances are the hallmarks of dead-end lives fully realized after those who create their own dull, lackluster pits realize they don't have # going for them. Macy may have some money, but I bet her life's pretty empty & stagnant on a day-to-day basis. Ergo, dead-end.

Many African flags have white in them. Niger, Cote D'Ivoire, Nigeria, Sudan, and Sierra Leone just to name five.
