I agree with you 100%!

This phenomenon has been occurring over military installations, and the government just shrugs it off and ignores it? I don’t think so!
Give me a good reason why our fighter jets are not scrambled every time one of these things appears close to a military base.
There’s no way the government is just going to say, “we don’t know what they are, so we’ll just let them fly around our most secure areas whenever they want”.
This is blatant cover-up and denial!

Yep and the fact that the crash debris was hauled off to Lockheed et al for reverse engineering puts the issue out of reach of FOIA requests AND gives the government cover of plausible deniablity.

"Give me a good reason why our fighter jets are not scrambled every time one of these things appears close to a military base." Why do you think that they don't scramble when "one of these things appears close to a military base" ? I bet they do and OPSEC protocols would make it impossible to report them, the scrambling.

In regards to that flight would their have been an alternate way for the crew to double check and know they were off course against the navigation computer?a reply to: Ophiuchus1

I think it was the USS Omaha incident that they did fire at a couple to no avail. Had no affect.

A compelling military encounter (if it has not been debunked yet) is the Holloman AFB encounter..... here is some back story if true

Source: paul.rutgers.edu...

“The Emenegger/Sandler Saga: The story begins in 1973, when Robert
Emenegger and Alan Sandler, two well-connected Los Angeles
businessmen, were invited to Norton Air Force Base in California
to discuss a possible documentary film on advanced research
projects. Two military officials, one the base's head of the Air
Force Office of Special Investigations, the other, the audio-
visual director Paul Shartle, discussed a number of projects. One
of them involved UFOs. This one sounded the most interesting and
plans were launched to go ahead with a film on the subject.

Emenegger and Sandler were told of a film taken at Holloman AFB,
New Mexico, in May 1971. In October 1988, in a national
television broadcast, Shartle would declare that he had seen the
16mm film showing "three disc-shaped craft. One of the craft
landed and two of them went away." A door opened on the landed
vehicle and three beings emerged. Shartle said, "They were human-
size. They had an odd, gray complexion and a pronounced nose.
They wore tightfitting jump suits, [and] thin headdresses that
appeared to be communication devices, and in their hands they
held a 'translator.' A Holloman base commander and other Air
Force officers went out to meet them" (Howe, 1989).

Emenegger was led to believe he would be given the film for use
in his documentary. He was even taken to Norton and shown the
landing site and the building in which the spaceship had been
stored and others (Buildings 383 and 1382) in which meetings
between Air Force personnel and the aliens had been conducted
over the next several days. According to his sources, the landing
had taken place at 6 a.m. The extraterrestrials were "doctors,
professional types." Their eyes had vertical slits like a cat's
and their mouths were thin and slitlike, with no chins." All that
Emenegger was told of what occurred in the meetings was a single
stray "fact": that the military people said they were monitoring
signals from an alien group with which they were unfamiliar, and
did their ET guests know anything about them? The ETs said no.

Emenegger's military sources said he would be given 3200 feet of
film taken of the landing. At the last minute, however,
permission was withdrawn, although Emenegger and Sandler were
encouraged to describe the Holloman episode as something
hypothetical, something that could happen or might happen in the
future. Emenegger went to Wright-Patterson AFB, where Project
Blue Book had been located until its closing in 1969, to ask Col.
George Weinbrenner one of his military contacts, what had
happened. According to Emenegger's account, the exchange took
place in Weinbrenner's office. The colonel stood up, walked to a
chalkboard and complained in a loud voice, "That damn MIG 25!
Here we're so public with everything we have. But the Soviets
have all kinds of things we don't know about. We need to know
more about the MIG 25!" Moving to a bookshelf and continuing his
monologue about the Russian jet fighter, he handed Emenegger a
copy of J. Allen Hynek's The UFO Experience (1972), with the
author's signature and dedication to Weinbrenner. "It was like a
scene from a Kafka play," Emenegger would recall , inferring from
the colonel's odd behavior that he was confirming the reality of
the film while making sure that no one overhearing the
conversation realized that was what he was doing.

The documentary film UFO's Past, Present & Future (Sandler
Institutional Films, Inc.) was released in 1974 along with a
paperback book of the same title. The Holloman incident is
recounted in three pages (127-29) of the book's "Future" section.
Elsewhere, in a section of photos and illustrations, is an
artist's conception of what one of the Holloman entities looked
like, though it, along with other alien figures, is described
only as being "based on eyewitness descriptions" (Emenegger,
1974). Emenegger's association with the military and intelligence
he had met while doing the film would continue for years. At one
point in the late 1980s his sources told him that He was about to
be invited to film an interview with a live extraterrestrial in a
Southwestern state, he says, but nothing came of it.”........

Purportedly this is the vid shot from at least two different cameras. Vid may be incorrectly dated and whoever got this copy logo’d it. The normal light footage portion also appeared in the Rod Serling UFO special towards the end. The other camera might have had a filter on the camera lens...hence the bluish look.

good post; piecemeal approach of technological dissemination throughout the next generation. IDK why anyone expected anything different. I wonder what Rubio is thinking. LMAO

BTW, the observed phenomena or UAP (unless you believe it’s not a physical construct but a projection of plasma, which in some way it becomes🥱 is not a of Russian nor Chinese origin.

if the “official intelligence analysts” say it’s not aliens, but we can’t rule it out either, then I say “I’m not saying it’s aliens, but it’s....aliens .”

the fact that there is no disclosure of advanced US capability detailed in this report is interesting, which I thought was a reversed engineered possibility. Adversaries need to know that a capability is possessed to function as a credible deterrent unless , they know more than an unclassified public report, which is a certainty.

Of course, I think classified briefings make the public disclosure moot. Stating that we don’t know it’s aliens but can’t rule it out is a slap in the face to the American people and the Constitution. As Bill Clinton said, there’s a government with the government and I don’t control it.

Again, you will never know what select members of Senate Intelligence Committee are briefed. Furthermore, either way they will have to increase black budgets for an undetermined threat. I don’t think anyone will make the case that there is a nonexistent threat.

Obama was right by half - defense spending will increase whether we have public announcement of alien visitors or we can’t rule it out. At least this way we would have the fostering “new religions” (as Obama stated last week) and public panic.

Our alien overlords would never permit that

This is just so embarrassing...we do lots of business with Russia and especially China. I'm surprised the militaries have this bad of relationships with one another that we are accusing China and Russia for these UAP encounters.

I don't understand why given 180 days that the US couldn't prove the UAP's are from a different country, but instead left it as a possibility.

ATS should start a new thread on advanced drones and science from Russia and China to try and debunk the report's guess the UAP'S are from Russia and China.

Anyone with common sense knows that are following this crap knows we are being played to keep the money rolling in.

Actually if you really think about, why haven't they attempted to missile shot one of these objects down. Also with our sound radar being able to pick up ( secret stuff here guys ) the pilots would be on high gear NOT TO remain silent on such matters.

Like I said, shoot the UFO's down, well actually that might prove to be the wrong thing, could be a Pentagon spy drone over the server of ATS folks, now that wouldn't be a conspiracy, would it.

How do you know they haven’t? I saw one video that really looks like we shot at one.

If these are hypersonic drones from Russia or China spying on US military operations, they would be blown out of the sky.

The government knows what they are.

This is the problem with ufology being treated as a joke for decades. The media and press need to put on their tin foil hats and start grilling the Government much harder with questions about the craft based on knowledge from ufology.

“So general do we normally let unknown tech fly with impunity around our military? Have we shot? Why not? What is our no fly zone around our war ships where we start shooting no matter who it is? Have they been there? Why haven’t we shot? Seems like the only reasonable explanation is that you know what they are. So give it up.”

What? You mean it turned out pretty much as I predicted when I first heard about it because they've done the same basic thing in the over half a century I've been interested in the subject? I for one am shocked.

David Fravor, commanding pilot of the tic tac encounter has done the most interviews out of anyone and I can't remember anyone beating the dead horse asking "did you attempt to make communication with it?"

Maybe I'm drawing a blank but this seems like a super important question that should be just as important as the flight capabilities. I wonder what the other 120 encounters will say about attempting communication.

In any fiction with fighter pilots that's always the case, attempt communication and give warning. Sorry movies and whatnot is all I have to go by. We don't just shoot without attempting communication first, unless otherwise instructed to.

I'd like to hear the communication attempts in the reports. The lack thereof makes it seem like the pilots encountered alien craft just like how when someone sees a UFO or orb they are too startled, scared, mesmerized and enchanted to pull out their cell phone. So maybe attempting no communication and just watching the UAP's confirms the pilots were awe struck.

I hate anecdotes like this... Because one, he was pranked by Airmen and film fun, two, he was the victim of a psyop trying to gauge his reaction, or three, he's a liar. Any of the three is more believable for me, than some vehicle with a two vehicle escort landed on a U.S. Airforce base and the occupants were other than human, in 1964. Maybe an 11 yr old me would have entertained the idea.

My college buddy went on to become a U.S. Navy A-7 pilot. (He was later promoted to Lt. Cmdr. flying F-18s and was killed in a test crash of a modified F-18 that was being sold to Canada.) When I briefly visited him in the mid-1970s at his Jacksonville, FL base, he enthusiastically took me on a tour and even sat me in the cockpit (which I didn't want to do). Back then, there was no modern-day terrorism and security was a lot more lenient.

We had a chance to talk about UFOs. To my amazement, he seemed uninterested. "Oh, they're up there all the time," he said. "But they don't bother us and we don't bother them." I knew him well enough to know that he was not bs-ing or lying.

Tom Mahood once told me that he had heard the same thing from military pilot friends of his. "Sort of like standing orders" was how Tom phrased it.

For what it's worth ... ... ...

It’s impossible to violate the law of physics. It is what it is! But it’s entirely possible to violate what we think is the law...
