Initially the police chief refused to comment when asked if the teen shot himself. The FBI alleges that he did. They already know everything about the crime scene five minutes after they get there. I think that doesn't cut the mustard, in terms of investigating. I know investigating, and all federal agencies tend to a slap-dash job of it. They've made too many mistakes in recent years to just take their word on anything.

I would much rather have heard something from the tribal council on this. Where are they in this process? The reservation is supposed to maintain its own police force and investigative division, and don't they usually handle matters internally? Don't they usually hold press conferences and let people know what's going on? I haven't heard a word from the tribal council, or any tribal authority, and the five or so words I heard from the local investigator made it sound like there was some investigating left to be done.

And I think this is the time to talk about it. If not now, when? I didn't want to start up another thread on this subject.

I will say there was conflict with how and when he killed himself.

What a trip. I saw the news last night and the news reporter said that he was a goth, I am a goth and offended that people are sterotyping, but that is the media for you. It is so sad that this had to happen. My heart goes out to all of the victims and their families. It is scary to me to think that this can happen, I worry for my son.

I think ATS will get through this. ATS is the best forum ive ever visited and my most favorite. Ive just recently started posting but ive been lurking and reading for over 3 years. This site has had educational benefit too. The relationship forums help out too. Heck maybe he should have just asked for advice.

This is worth taking a look at I think. He did say in one of his posts that he was questioned last year/month for threats that he did not do. Hard to tell if he is telling the truth or not. What about his ps statement? Why does he make this distinction, "I'm not a white supremecist, can't even spell it, I'm a Native American, Ojibwa, living on the Redlake Indian Reservation in Minnesota?"

They pegged me as a possible school shooter earlier this year, or wait, that was last month.

Apparently someone was supposed to shoot up the school on 4/20, and there was alot of buzz around me, and for good reasons I guess.

I wear combat boots (with my pant legs tucked into them), wear a trench coat, and at the last basketball game my friend Mac, (who happens to wear a black trench coat like mine), did a "Sieg Heil" during the national anthem (for shock value), so they had us pegged as "Trench Coat Mafia." My "friend" Rose even said that I fit the profile of a school shooter that she saw on 60 minutes. They also pinned it on me because 4/20 happens to be Adolf Hitlers birthday, and I seem to be the only one who promotes National Socialist beliefs (not the stereotypical "White Power" bs you hear racists shouting, either). So it's not hard to label a school shooter.

I happen to be "not so popular," Gothic (in the sense that I wear nothing but black, spike my hair in "devil" horns, and listen to music like Cradle of Filth and KoRn), and happen to be an emotionally disturbed person, if you could call me that. So it's really no problem slapping a label on someone because they fit the stereotype. And no, I wasn't the one who did the threat. On "Game day" (4/20) the Feds were all around the place, watching, cop cars on nearly every corner around the school and a few large unmarked black vans sitting around, I bet they were on standby. So they WERE prepared for something to happen.

Be cautious of what you say on an open forum. After something like this, I would not be surprised in the least if the feds did a bit of lurking about.

Did anyone ever tell him that Hitler hated indians also?
it might have made a difference in how his view of reality was so skewed...

but then, i guess if a gothic indian dude with gelled devil horns came up to you and talked about how much he loved hitler... he probably wouldn't get alot of remarks... positive or negative...

personally, i don't judge on appearance (much) but that would freak me a little...
I would suddenly need to be somewhere else at that moment...

a sad tragedy... truly sad...
the saddest thing, is he was probably just emotionally disturbed, due to his scattered upbringing, and needed help...
all the free help he wanted was available thru the tribes healthcare...
and he never asked...
and now a bunch of others suffer for his instability...
I feel very sorry for mentally ill people, unless they don't get help...
then it becomes others problem...

I hope so. If the administrators haven't already been contacted by authorities, I think it would be a good idea to contact them and point out his history of posting here. At the very least, his posts might help them to understand the warning signs better in the future. There's also a possibility those posts might have information about his confidantes or even accomplices.

it would be wise for the board to volunteer any info it had, but that isn't much other than the guys posts, and there weren't many...

But on another topic, shouldn't this have been moved to RATs yet?

Like others have posted before me, I was surprised to see so many calls to cover this up. I'm glad that cooler heads prevailed and this remains open for discussion. I'm sorry I didn't note who the poster was, but they talked about the irony of ATS calling for a cover up.

It gives us a little insight into how a "cover up" is such an easy/natural path to take.

Sympathies for the folks killed in this. Nobody wants to advocate this sort of waste of life, nobody looking at ATS would think that we as a site community would want it.

Interesting connection? Anyone remember the nonsense in Kentucky? This is looking like a pattern of media direction. Anyone else got an opinion?

After going over the post and reading some of them from the member in question, I have to say that the sign were there but nobody was able to see them.

I suggest that as members we should for now on be more awared of each other and what we post in the boards.

Very tragic indeed for all the people involve.

Sad Story

First of all I would like to say that my heart goes to the families of the killed people in this shooting. A real tragedy.

But its also very strange. Lots of weird facts. Like being a native american nazi? That kind of does not go togather very well.

Then that post about the White Owl being a bad omen? REALLY strange.

Its natural that the FBI and other investigators will get deep into the history of Weise and check his Online Activity. But he was only a part of a massive online community, and was registered on few forums. ATS has alot of traffic and can not be "blamed" for actions such as this one.

But it is a SCARY coincidence...


EDIT: He wrote zombie stories and had a signature from a movie about zombies Dawn of the Dead? One more weird fact about this story.

Well its too late for this to be moved to RATS now.. its been public long enough for enough people to see.

Its obviously not easy to pick out the people who are in need of help among the crowds. It's a sad thing that happened, it's not right to attack everyone who wears gothic however - which im seeing alot of recently.
