Honestly? I don't know. Our phones, computers, building materials, cars, food and clothing and whatever are mostly provided by multi-national companies that essentially do not have borders. Sometimes I think political borders are just vestiges of a world full of centuries of horrific wars fighting over imagined resources or differences in religious or political opinions that really have little to do with living our day to day lives but more to do with who gets to funnel tax money into their cronies' pockets. They can hamper trade, as you said. And many people are afraid of immigrants and refugees. No borders, no refugees. No immigrants.

What do you think? Do you travel a lot? Have you had a chance to experience regular life in countries where they have a radically different political or religious viewpoint than yours?

It's not too much, no. But you know that the biggest reason why some people have single parent families is because we're all caught up in a system where every adult in a family is expected to work full time. If a man or woman could support their entire family by working for a living wage, you'd get your wish.

The interesting thing to me is that you see the 1980s and 1990s as a nostalgic time to return to, and when I was a kid the old people wistfully dreamed of a return to the 1950s. My guess is that in 2045 there will be some guy saying, "Damn, I wish we were back in the 2010s where you could travel relatively freely and own a dog without being considered an evil person and you could actually go to a store to buy things." I don't know. The current global situation is not great, but believe me, when I was trying to get a job in the 80s fresh out of college during an economic downturn that had a lot to do with Ronald Reagan's tarot card predictions, it wasn't all that great either. In fact, it was never that great. That's the danger of nostalgia. We remember the songs, but not the massive unemployment.

Yeah, but you know extremists will always mock the extremists they feel are on the "other side," when it would be nice if we tried really hard to see that we're all on the same side. The side where we all just want to live our lives without feeling like manipulated victims to forces beyond our control run by people who just don't understand -- Democrats, Republicans, whoever, doesn't matter.

And if we could do that without being told we have to hate each other, that would be sweet. That, as Michael Jackson sang, starts with the man (person) in the mirror.

And now with 1984 just about upon us, it is some what ironic that a once feared event, such as a Carrington event, may in fact turn out to be our saviour, considering it's potential to trash electrical and electronic systems.

You thought 2020 was bad? 2021 is going to make 2020 look like pure sanity. You will beg to go back. And 2021 is going to have nothing on 2024. Better hide long before then. But, the real deal happens in 2028.

Change would be acceptable.
But changing in to something that America has stood against from its inception is beyond unacceptable. There's a reason socialism has failed every time it has been tried.
Eventually you run out of other people's money to spend, and by that time nobody wants to work.

You say you are young, yes this must be hard on you.

Many of us grew up with fire drills or tornado drills but the basement of my grade school had fallout shelter signs everywhere and the threat of nuclear war seemed ever present. As a teen I resented it, the politicians, the rhetoric, the complacency.

Anyway, this is part of their strategy, making you fearful...and that will shorten your life so stop it

I know it may not please you but traveling abroad may not be appropriate any more. I managed to see a few far flung places but what I saw was a lot of poverty and many times I felt out of place. Many Americans don't feel or aren't aware of how entitled we are. I went to India in 2015 and man, that was intense.

What we are seeing and experiencing now is a fast paced transition. In about 10 months, things will be much better. In fact, you will witness amazing things in the coming years but right now, the murky waters are getting dirtier, to use Kryon's analogy.

The "birth chart"of the US, July 4, 1776 is not all that stellar, in fact it is really bad for free thinking, ostentatious extravagance and even commerce. The USA may actually breakup very soon, apparently, it is our turn. The Brits did it to India, the US did it to the USSR, and now our own politicians are going to do it to the US.

The best we can do is to adjust, adapt and acclimatize; flexibility is key on this planet.

It's not impossible that China has dirt on every politician and billionaire in the West.

Releasing this info will not only kill the parasite, but paralyze the host.

A nasty catch-22 but if you were in China's position you could easily plunge whole nations into disarray.
