It was the worst garbage I’ve ever seen or heard, Axl drunk out of his mind, slobbering all over himself, Slash's sloppy guitar work....pure garbage.

This made me laugh so hard! Like you said, many people are fans of GnR. I'll take some hate with you. Im not a fan. Never have been. I will say though, they do have some good stuff. But I have never been able to care.

Agreed. Always have liked them. I played the flute for a while back in the '70s and '80s because of Ian Anderson. Until my flute broke.

Worst musicians but most successful band, hands down has to be KISS. Don’t hate me for hard truths.

That is ultimate truth on kiss. Their show is great, can't stand their music. I have seen them twice, the tickets were free.

Well I mean it. I'm not just parroting the disgruntled mumblings of a thrash metal purest.

We like what we like. I get it.

For me, they slipped into mainstream commercial success and lost more than Cliff along the way. Yes, alcohol, grief and other issues were decimating the band. It was good for them to get sober and get through that.

Not so good for their music however. But that's just my taste and can respect yours as well.

Who is the Best Worst Band of ALL TIME?

I won't try to think of an example, simply because I don't feel like intentionally torturing myself. (even though it will inevitably happen anyways, unintentionally)...

But my answer to that↑ question would be based on the bands ability to write a song that even though it really sucks, once it gets in your head, it becomes stuck there and sometimes takes a long time to get rid of.

One of the best bands ever IMO but they did write a song on the subject.
