Far too many to mention.
Almost every single manufactured pop act and boy'girl 'band'.
Some of the 80's/90's metal/rock outfits were embarrassingly awful.

Worst band I ever saw live?
Toss up between Happy Mondays at Whitley Bay Ice Rink in 1990 - saw them a few times afterwards and I have to say they were excellent - and a band called Charge at Newcastle Mayfair back in '82.

It was a particular rough looking crowd in the Mayfair that night - a venue renowned for its 'rowdiness' - and when Charge took stage there were immediate rumblings. They were a London punk band and this was Newcastle and the lead singer wore a leather tutu and he spoke in what can only be called an effeminate voice.
They were #ing awful, absolutely terrible and before long the crowd were really getting at them.
The lead singer proceeded to announce the next song "This song is about you" he mincingly spoke, "It's called Wild Men of the North, and by the way.....Kevin Keegan is a #ing wanker".
Well, the whole place erupted, beer glasses - well before plastic one's became the order of the day - rained down on the stage as the Geordies went mental.
I thought it was #ing hilarious.

They really were atrocious but looking back I'm not too sure they deserved that.

The Damned came on and blew the place away - as they always have dating back from when I first saw them as a spotty teenager in '79.
(It did help that they had these rather scantily dressed nuns on stage for most of the set, just what this repressed catholic wanted at the time!)

You can't see but my bottom lip is really sticking out now.
I'm going to sit and sulk while playing my 4 capt cds one after another and weeping into , at least 5 litres of ice cream.

(Bursts into tears and slams door on way to fridge)

I have a number of bands I really like, but my favorite is Jethro Tull. I have seen them in concert 3 times and their sound and aesthetic is perfect for me.

allways bugs me when people say this. load & reload where great albums, you cant say theyre trash just because it was different to what they did 20 yrs before.
