Actually it’s:

Agnostic Atheist - and - Agnostic Theist

Neither know. One is belief the other lack of belief.

Atheist means “lack of belief in a god” — nothing more.

But — nice post.

Faith does not require logic.
It begins with Hope, which may often defy logic.
Belief is what unfolds.
With out these things, it all falls down.

Faith in what?

I can have faith/trust/confidence in my child. My child is tangible.

God is not logical IMO

I do consider myself atheist. I do not believe in a god in the religious sense.

However, I lean toward “energy consciousness” — along the lines of a virtual reality.

Why do I need a god? I can tell you it was an epiphany when I first stepped completely out of the “god circle”.

I am responsible for me.

I was brought up an Atheist, I just don't believe it anymore.
Given all the scientific evidence, and how I interpret it, this is my "intuition"

I pray no that man, or group of men, or aliens, are ever the final arbiter of reality.
Hence God is also necessary from a logical point of view.

Why is it Illogical for God to exist ?
It's seems like bad science ruling out the possibility.

I don't have a logical problem, with the idea of God.
It's a bit like the big bang. but with many more dimensions, and primary information and purpose.
Not to be deterministic in the manner that would make a logical person believe.

I think these beliefs are an inward journey, rather than an external exploration. no less real.
The Hindus call this Atman

Atheism is not a belief. It is a lack of belief.

An individual who lacks belief in a god — will still develop their own philosophy.

Atheism is not a group think.

I am, of course, not knowledgeable of what philosophy you were raised with or developed on your own.

Let me know how god is explained by science.

After almost a half century of scientific pursuit (as a layman), and while still in pursuit, I lack the belief that there is not a God.

Is Logic, entirely logical ?
what can logic do with out purpose ?

if the universe can be explained by logic, the question becomes why is it logical ?

Science is known knowledge.

Science (from the Latin word scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.

The concept of god is a man made belief.

God made physics, so there is pre-existing unmanifested logic, like pure mathematics.

The Abrahamic beliefs (not science) they call this Ein Sof

...understood as God prior to any self-manifestation in the production of any spiritual realm

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God.

Some top thinkers, believe this to not only be logical, but very probable.
I think this is equivalent to the simulation being as real as it gets, and an outside purposeful creator being responsible for it.

Infinite regress, no matter which way you cut it.

Yes and No. I will find his video on Nothing.

And backing up a bit — EVERYTHING is political.

IF - there are off planet beings that have visited earth — there is a good chance they’ve interacted in various ways (not benevolent) — but for political control and power.

I do not believe in the religious concept of god. Does not mean I don’t believe in a “power greater than ours”.

Ever researched how the book was compiked/put together?

Anyway, it’s just writings from man. And who exactly could read and write?

Lots of ancient writings to pick and choose
From.

No writings of Jesus during his lifetime.

God is a man-made phenomena? How can you be so sure? What if a group of cavemen saw something like this say 25 to 50 thousand years ago.
