Rewind maybe 5 years. Vape Wild is one of the best vape companies on Earth. Dynamic customer service, great deals, top notch product. They were killing it, and had begun branching into brick and mortar stores before the FDA stepped in and asserted control on behalf of big tobacco.

In the online forum, i used to be visually assaulted by people making claims of "the vaping community". What? What community is this? I vape, and i most certainly am not part of a community. But these people wanted to belong to something. And something is never enough, so you try to belong to somethings.

I read on Reddit that there is an lgbtq+ community. So how you choose to have sex now is a defining characteristic, and thus you have community.

When my son was a kid and struggling with what being gay meant, and how he fit into the world, I use to tell him "What you are does not matter. Its who you are that matters. Don't let people pigeonhole who you are based on what you are." All those "whats" that we fit into. Gay. Texan. Vaper. Democrat. Black. All these things that we worry so much about. They are what we are. We may actually be gay, or from Texas. Or a black person. All that is what you are. Boxes you can check. None of them speak to WHO you are.

With all these identifying similarities, communities, etc....does anyone actually know who they are anymore? Or do they just summarize all the whats, and try to belong based on that alone? Does character, individuality...none of that matters?

Most people aren't all that into super processed food, so why would be into super-processed people either?

Trans women have been guilting and shaming lesbians to sleep with them by labeling them transphobe for years. That is rape culture and wrong it should have been stopped long ago.

That same rape culture was being normalized with younger people which I consider grooming. When that was tried on a straight kid with a bit of sense he pushed back publicly in a video naming his sexuality as Super Straight.

The lgbt community have imploded after when people ran with it as a joke, but I think it has a chance of becoming the new reality. The memes are some of the funniest I have seen in a long while. People are beating lgbt over the head with their own rules and logic.
