It’s a personal decision. From my position, the older the mustang the more it takes to make that pony run. So dear Penthouse letters.

I think most people get this a little wrong "A day for God is one thousand years to man."

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing: that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

AS IS could mean any time period in my opinion.

Any Christian who is living in any sin and other Christians are aware of this, it is their DUTY to confront the Christian and help the lost soul back onto the path that leads to God. If the Christian refuses to repent he/she/it is removed from the church and excommunicated.

So we do have the right to lead the Christian sinner back to Christ.

Seems the only issues are who, how, which way, when, where....and all must fit everyone elses criteria for "normal".

Who are we to tell anyone else?

We have no right to tell anyone or judge but we do all have a judge and he has definite rules. He is Who He Is and he does not let his laws be broken. When the time comes we will all face that judge.

We are no talking to just Christians here and we never have the right to judge anyone.
Confrontation is supposed to a loving thing but yes if i knew a Christian had been led into porn I would feel the need to lovingly confront.

This source has typos and doesn’t cite an actual publication or researcher soooooo yeahhhhh

Also this
www.sciencedaily.com...

“Male DNA is commonly found in the brains of women, most likely derived from prior pregnancy with a male fetus, according to first-of-its-kind research conducted at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. While the medical implications of male DNA and male cells in the brain are unknown, studies of other kinds of microchimerism – the harboring of genetic material and cells that were exchanged between fetus and mother during pregnancy – have linked the phenomenon to autoimmune diseases and cancer, sometimes for better and other times for worse.”

Sooo yeah CHECK YOUR SOURCES

I merely mentioned a story that has appeared here in the past but the story seems very relevant and the source is quoted.

The study findings are published Sept. 26 in PLOS ONE. Lead author William F. N. Chan, Ph.D., in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Alberta, conducted the research while working in the Hutchinson Center laboratory of J. Lee Nelson, M.D., a member of the Center's Clinical Research Division and a leading international authority on microchimerism. Nelson is senior author on the paper.

Please look up PLOS ONE if you disagree.

The male sperm for example actually travels to a Females brain and becomes apart of her.

Check your information.

For god sake.

I didn't write the articles and it has nothing much to do with my thread, some say this and some say otherwise, I myself doubt they want people to realize this and so had to withdraw the original information.
I could be wrong but it is what I feel is likely.

The new study, he says, indicates that NGF in male sperm actually travels through the female bloodstream to the brain, causing her hypothalamus and pituitary gland to release the hormones required for pregnancy. Although the precise mechanisms by which NGF is acting on the pituitary gland and hypothalamus still need to be worked out in detail, Ojeda says the research itself looks solid. The beauty of this study, he says, "is what is exciting about science. They decided to find out what the molecule was with no preconceived ideas at all. When they found it, it was extremely well done."

I don't think a daily oil change harms my engine.

Are you sure it's the porn leading to low testosterone?

You all should try weight-lifting and whey powder with Tribulus.

I think the argument is nonsense, because if you're truly low libido and testosterone, you won't be interested in porn.

But the Bible says in Mathew 18:9, if your eye or any body-part causes you to stumble, cut it off or gouge it out.
I believe some early Christians (Origen, for example) took this literally and castrated themselves.
So, lead by example.

Or learn that it was talking about the Body of Christ which is the church and to remove from among you any who cause the whole to go bad. Galatians 5:9 New International Version

"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough."

1 Corinthians 12

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

14 For the body is not one member, but many.

15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?

20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.

21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
and the rest.....

Psalm 26:4-5 – “I have not sat [dwell; inhabit; abide; remain] with vain [deceit; lying; useless] persons [men], neither will I go in [come; go; enter] with dissemblers [concealed; pretenders]. 5 I have hated [set against] the congregation [company; assembly; multitude] of evil doers [wicked]; and will not sit [dwell; abide] with the wicked [ungodly; immoral; criminal; i.e. guilty of breaking the law].”

I watched the first one and thought the logic they were trying to suggest was stupid and narrow. If God created us one would think he would have done a better job. Much of what we are is not prefect, or even great...What evolution gives us is "just good enough" and that is about it.

Take our eyes, it they were a TV set then it would have the cords going right through the front monitor instead of in the back, not so good... The Octopus eyes are so much better than ours, wonder why God didn't give us those instead. Look up why we are acceptable to hernias, why our breathing tube is connected to our feeding tube and sometimes we choke to death. Or why we start to go to hell physically around 40+ (hint, evolution only works with births and we don't have many women giving birth past 40, and we were once a 40 year at best mammal.) What this means is all the nastiness that hits us later in life evolution has not had a chance to weed any of it out.

So in the end we are just good enough and I wouldn't think just good enough would be divine.

Watched chunks of the second one... And they suggest we can not show changes from one kind to another and that is their bases for stumping? The problem with evolution is it is slow, so I do not know how to demonstrate a 50 to 500 million year-long experiment within the natural environment to show "kind" change, so I guess that means God created all life as it is today, but the pesky dinos kind of get in the way, so does that mean God randomly pops new life on to the scene as time goes on. Will we all of a sudden see some new creature in the 100s of thousands just appear in Africa one day?

The funny part is pretty much all life shares DNA, the closer that life is to us like the Chimp the more like DNA 95%+, while the grape vine is 18% same DNA, so whatever you think, all life on earth is related at some point.

Only a tiny percentage of fans would watch a 2 hour movie.

It's like cut to the chase already, I got other things to do and social media.

To be clear, that’s 1 in 20 boys claim abuse and 1 in four girls claim abuse. There’s a key word.

Easy answer for a crappy design, maybe think a different direction for once. Maybe God made the universe and he just let it flow within his design any direction it goes... What this means is we are not special and that is a hard thing to accept....

If God made all these rules and laws that the universe follows why would he use a magic wand to pop life into existence totally bypassing everything he created when he could let the universe do it as he intended.

I have spent a life time looking into all of the various questions and issues, maybe you have too. I guess we have concluded what we have. Since I am not very good with words I find the videos express what I have learned, often much better than I ever could.
Thanks for the effort by the way, you took to watch at least one of the two videos and respond.
We will each live with whatever consequences our decisions lead to.

I didn't really understand what you are saying here.

The bible is a very bare picture of what the creator did, it basically tells us that is purposeful because he only wants people who are willing to seek and keep seeking him and to knock and keep knocking and it will be opened. In other words the info already written "on our hearts" will become conscious and it leads to a feeling of sureness and faith that all will be as it should again when it is time.
I am only happy to have what I have been given especially since the world is looking pretty grim but understanding that there is purpose behind even all of this really makes it easier to live.

Purpose for what? Do you really need eternal purpose? Does that give you hope or fear?

To me it is like the way my children did not understand the world while they were very young, I was there and even though they had to go through a lot of things that were difficult they were learning from each experience.

I don't need a purpose, God HAS a purpose for each and every thing that has and will happen. I never feel fear, I am grateful.
