Apparently the CDC said it will be a while before "vaccinated people" will be able to go back to normal. Now as far as non vaccinated folks, i take that as we will never go back to normal.

This sounds like a gateway to the mark of the beast.

Just a year ago, someone may have asked, how will some sort of global mark be implemented. Today, that question is answered.

It's interesting that this mark is tied to commerce.

Now you have all of these countries talking about a vaccine passport and you can't buy or sell without one. This way we can "return to normal."

We're just a hop, skip and a jump away from TPTB saying that these vaccine passports are to easily faked. We need something like a quantum dot tattoo with luciferase that Bill Gates in investing in.

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but can someone confirm what the point of having a 'vaccination passport' is?

I can see how having a recent negative test is useful, say prior to attending a big mass event etc, but doesn't a vaccination just help prevent you getting sick? rather than actually stop you 'getting it' (and spreading it)?

I.e. does a vaccine stop you spreading it also?

Also just to add to my above question, (from a quick 5mins worth of googling this) I found the below link, which is only a few weeks old. In summary this link asks my question, but mentions they are still researching this, i.e. still don't really know. So we have governments, organisations, people clammering for vaccine passports, yet the research as to if they even help prevent transmission hasn't even been completed yet?!.

So - postulating here - say they don't prevent transmission, or only limit it lightly, you will then have asymptomatic carriers spreading it far and wild, football crowds, planes, etc, but hey they have a magic vaccine passport so all is OK! This makes no sense to me.

I think it's meant to reduce transmission slightly (early data shows 30% reduction in hospital staff). That's only marginally better than wearing a mask and not as effective as washing hands/using good hygene. As you state a negative test is a far superior method.

It's a highly illegal and poorly thought out idea, the government have already written to employees telling them it's illegal to require it for work. It would take a decade or so to rewrite all the human rights laws that block measures such as this.

I've written to my MP to complain about the idea (had the vaccine but I'm disabled and can't use a smart phone so would have no access to the proposed QR/NHS app). There's a debate in June/July against introducing such a passport.

I was reading on the Dutch news yesterday that an EU covid passport will be required to travel from country to country within the block. So it seems that it's already been decided here which is no surprise. I always knew that it was coming. It'll start with travel, then events and anything to do with hospitality recreation and employment. It's all coming.

Being a trusting person, I'm sure they have good intentions, but as bastion above says this is wrong, really wrong on many levels. Just no need for any of these forced requirements in my opinion.

Sick, vulnerable, concerned people yes obviously take the vaccine. This alone would take care of 99% of the problem, and everything would get back to normal. Having 3rd Reich style passports to validate everything we do and invade our lives is not the solution, that's my personal opinion anyway. But yeah as you say it's coming and probably nothing to stop it now.

The vaccine doesn't stop a person spreading it and they can still carry it if they are asymptomatic as far as I know.

I don't like the sound of that but I have read about these experiments going on in Sweden with people having chips implanted in their hands which open up up doors to businesses, toilets, paying for food, their own front door to their homes etc..

I guess that is the test
