I forgot to mention the crops rotting in the field because there's not enough migrants to harvest them. That also drives up prices. And the covid
has taken it's toll as well.
You remember when the restaurants were all shut down?
Farmers and ranchers had to either dump stock or figure out how to pay to keep all those animals eating their heads off. Most of them dumped their
stock. So now you have increasing restaurant demand again, but less food to go around. Prices increase because the supply has not caught up.
What is to be expected when double digit % of the work force is no longer a producer, but a collector? Amazing, inflation and the cost of goods and
services rise.
