There was a short sci fi story written by Iain M Banks where people eat steaks made from celebs/famous peoples DNA.
I can't help thinking this company read that story-but IMO it should stay as a fictional idea.

You can also bypass the celebrity part, and just grow a steak from your own DNA,if thats your idea of fun:

A group of American scientists and designers have developed a concept for a grow-your-own steak kit using human cells and blood to question the ethics of the cultured meat industry.
Ouroboros Steak could be grown by the diner at home using their own cells, which are harvested from the inside of their cheek and fed serum derived from expired, donated blood.

www.dezeen.com...

While I think the idea of eating human meat is vile-There could be some good that comes from these ideas.
Maybe we could invent a unit that people could have in their home, where you could eventually grow spare organs or stem cells from your own DNA,which could then be used to fix any future health problems?

This could be a game changer,it would help health services be able to treat people faster,it would eliminate organ rejection/the need for immune surpressants and maybe it would prevent the evil horror of organ harvesting from non willing donors.

I wonder..is it possible to slowly boil a person so they do not realize it and just pass out after a while? Or roasting someone but so low they dont burn?

Yeah kind of dark, but valid questions on the topic and something fantasized about by quite a few people apparently.

You found a place that said it may be "probably satire.

I can't find anything to support that. Everything else looks legit.

While this all might sound like hoax — Grub Street was able to trace the company to a designer and artist who studied at Brown and RISD, for what it’s worth — Slate suggests BiteLabs is “partly a commentary on food culture,” but the meat itself is all real. No word on when the salami will be available for purchase, but if the Twittersphere has its way, there will soon be James Franco- and Jennifer Lawrence- flavored charcuterie for your snacking pleasure. Pair them with these cheeses made from Michael Pollan’s belly-button cells for the ultimate human antipasto platter. Throw in some beer produced from yeast collected from Rogue Brewery’s brewmaster’s beard, and you have the makings of a feast.

So does it taste like chicken?

We are completely beyond hope if this actually becomes a product. At that point I’d welcome an alien invasion or the Messiah, just get it over with.

No, humans taste like pork. However this company is adding other animal meats and processing so who knows what their spruced up junk tastes like.

In the demon world of "Spirit Cooking" they do whatever is opposite of what God said was good and within his law.
I think they have bought up most of the vegetarian and vegan food companies already and added human blood or something like that to it to defile it.
God said not to use blood so I expect that is what they will do. Look for opposites to what is called good by God and you will see it is what they do.

They destroy Children for example.

Over in the WTF dept...

World’s First Human Composting Facility is Coming to Seattle in 2021

The revolutionary system converts human remains into soil as an alternative to cremation or burial.

In a move hailed as a positive step by environmentalists, Washington became the first U.S. state to legalize the composting of human bodies in May of this year.

And now, the Evergreen State will become home to the world’s first human composting facility in 2021 thanks to Katrina Spade, founder and CEO of Recompose, after the legislation she helped enact goes into effect in May 2020.

I have no doubt these freaks do evil wherever they can. Dunno that they are putting things in the vegan/vegetarian food mind you. That is something only a lab test could confirm. Though I see a huge push to get people to become vegans these days. Not for me, I'm omnivore with a carnivorous bias.

If blood use is a no no, then I'm doomed, Stornaway black pudding for the win!

Some years back I saw burial pods, that have a tree in them too, so when you die you help grow a tree, which can then be a nice place to visit as a memorial, maybe have a wee plaque with your details on it screwed into the tree like a grave stone. I thought it was a nice idea. I fancied becoming a fruit tree, so giving generations to come free fruit.

And you believe the random guy on the internet who wrote that vegan food has human blood in it?

Do you have any proof or was this purely based off what some random person said?
