Texas loves socialism when it comes to weather

And right now, I'm sitting in a sitting in a city experiencing rolling blackouts thanks to insane energy policy.

Can't have coal. Can't have natural gas. Can't have nuclear. All we can have are these freakin' useless frozen stiff windmills.

And it's 1 degree outside ... maybe headed to -15 overnight.

just saw a news blurb about refineries shutting down due to cold.

If true just make sure your gas needs are topped off .

53. FEMA - If Disaster strikes, FEMA is there to help pick up the pieces. As a part of homeland security and an agency of the federal government, they use taxpayer dollars to help cities, states, and towns recover and rebuild. I don't know to many private companies that could assist in disaster relief and ask nothing in return. Thank God for socialism.

The irony is that he'd need a lot less help if the state hadn't gone all-in on green energy that doesn't work when it gets cold.

It's like they don't get that the COTUS is a cage designed to keep the government in. Within those bounds, the government has do what it has to do, and sometimes that is through programs best described as socialist -- like the common defense. But the COTUS is designed to constrain the government so that it doesn't powergrab its way into socializing everything so that we the people can continue to live, breathe, make our own choices free of having every choice provided for us be Daddy Gov.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! They are trying to interview Rick Perry on Tucker Carlson right now, and they can't do it because he's on generator power in Texas. Rolling blackouts got him and there isn't enough power to maintain the connection.

The OP has a very radical view of what a typical conservative is actually like. Conservatives have happier families, find more meaning in life, are generally happier overall, and donate far more money and time to the needy than their liberal peers. Hell they even tip better... Study after study shows this, all this seems to piss them off.

I didn't vote for Biden, I'm a committed Libertarian and voted for Jo Jorgensen. I've posted this I don't know how many times; try and keep up!

And I don't just make money from the nat gas leases on my farm in Texas, there's also a number of cell towers, and the cotton and onions of course. I feel blessed to have it leased to the same farmer for over 20 years.

And I still work every damn day and pay my taxes. Union proud!!
