I wonder if his book says anything about China's emissions. To me, it's pointless to force changes in western countries when China puts out more emissions than everyone else. I mean, we are all on the same planet.

Also, I am not sold on the idea that mankind has that much effect on naturally occurring climate cycles. I mean, ice ages, floods and droughts were a thing way before industrialization, right? Are we fooling ourselves that we are THAT important as to change the course of climate cycles?

It's one thing and one thing only they've took not the slightest bit of notice about global this or global that. In other words they are using ALL and every cheap power producing they can. That's ALL the dirty power generation that all the other governments are or have stopped which means apart from China and India every countries power generation is expensive.

Hydrogen is naturally abundant. Petroleum is not. Hydrogen can potentially take less energy to produce than petroleum and is less polluting when burned.

Hydrogen is less energy dense than petroleum. 10 kg of Hydrogen has the same energy as 2.83 kg of gasoline.

To produce 5 gallons of petroleum, it takes the energy equivalent of 1 gallon of gasoline. That means the process is 83.33% energy efficient. Producing Hydrogen by electrolysis of water is currently 70-80% energy efficient, but using proton exchange membrane electrolyzers, will likely yield energy efficiencies of 82-86%.

The amount of energy that goes into making a fuel is not what makes it ecologically friendly. Hydrogen fuels can be zero carbon. Burning Hydrogen combines it with oxygen, producing water (H2O) as a 'waste product'. Burning fossil fuels, even with good carbon recapture, still produces significant carbon waste products, like carbon dioxide.

Funny how the solution to every problem seems to be more power to the government, less rights for the people.

To be fair it may use more energy, however with a large solar array turning salt water into hydrogen and oxygen it would be fairly neutral. And old Billiam can drink his exhaust.

Solving climate change????? Earth has climate change and has for millions of years and will continue to have. We can possibly affect some parts of nature. But really for the most part, it's adapt or die. Us, not it.

Climate change causes are something we can't all seem to agree on. So it's the mystical magical 'black hole' of our planet that the elite can use to control us. Climate change and anything that might possibly be related to it - true or not - will be the basis of their soap box rants and validity to their being. There isn't a whole lot left that they can force on us.

I looked at figures from the WHO for the same year a month or so back and compared to covid the figure was only about a third higher for the so called deadly pandemic. You can also look at the survival rate and it’s something like 99:4% on average. The Orwellian solution is worse than the problem.

I’m all for clean green energy, but petroleum isn’t diesel and most engines run on the far less refined diesel. If it takes more energy to extract than it gives back it is also pointless as you might as well just use the original energy source for the job rather than waste it in the process. Wether that solar or whatever. Also how green is solar when the Pamala consist of lots of toxic chemicals that can’t be recycled?

until there is a better way of extracting hydrogen it’s not feasible and hence why it isn’t already used on mass.

The virus is just a single cause condition (virus). There's a limited number of solutions: (quarantine, vaccinations, herd immunity).
