Unfortunately, people in government are so stupid they're going to require this sh#t to travel. This isn't the US I know.

If I want to take my expensive vacation this summer I will have to get stabbed. Not looking forward to it because I always react violently to these kinds of shots.

Also, I don't know if I'll be eligible for a shot in time for my trip, which could result in me having to cancel it if they go ahead with these asinine vaccine passports.

We've got some really REALLY stupid people in government. They always say if you can't do anything else, get a government job.

I'd urge everyone not to get the vaccine. It's not proven and it's barely tested.

I think the worst thing is the way this jab works. It certainly isn't a vaccine. It is a facilitator for a product, which then [in theory] should start your immune system up.
What I have problems with is that this is totally unnatural.
Whilst in old fashioned vaccines pieces of actual 'empty' virus are attacked as if you caught it naturally, in this one an RNA sequence is placed directly into your cells, which are then translated into virus proteins that your body then attacks.
However there is never a 'winning' state.
Basically you'll get a free auto immune disease injected which will be a gift that keeps on giving as you can't just switch off the ribosomes which do the translating and producing.

After just one jab, your body will be constantly fighting an intruder. Get more than one and I guess your immune system will tilt under the onslaught at some point.

For how long will your body produce enemy pieces?
Heck, nobody knows. All I know is that it sounds like madness, especially as it has not been tested for long enough. I wouldn't take it after 10 years of testing, let alone after weeks.

Oh and to make matters worse. The sequence isn't even from a virus, it has been generated by a computer using what humans believe is a good representation.

What could possibly go right? I mean really.

May I pose to you all?

When your world where you live requires masks, distancing, limitations, no travel etc...as your stores, schools, bosses, insurance policies etc require adherences to CDC guudelines....are you not gonna go to work, your kids to school, the stores, airlines....buses, trains...

Are you still not going to change?(rhetoric question for all?)

*PS Do only what you feel is right for your family. I don't care. MS/

I scanned that entire site - NOTHING.
Then I scanned it again - NOTHING.
Scanned it with this:
sitecheck.sucuri.net...
Scanned it with this:
scanner.pcrisk.com...

I have CCleaner and way more than that.
SpyBot search and destroy.

NOTHING - Nothing at all.
Very bold claim you're making.

Personally I'd cancel my expensive holiday. If this was a normal flu jab, by all means I'd take it and then be ill for 2 months [as happened before], but at least it would be predictable. If you have bad reactions to any vaccine, I don't know how safe this one will be. But each to their own. You will probably live and not become a jittering mess [you have a good chance] but it is a possibility. But what about long term problems? Anyone injected right now or soon is a guinea pig in the great clinical trial, be aware of that.

I know. This is complete madness. We are dealing with the Scare Police right now.

I want to take this vacation. It's the only time I see my family every year.

We're all older. We won't be able to travel like this much longer.

I put off travelling when I was younger, earning like mad to enjoy early retirement. Then along came China.

Bastards.

Ok, I've been reading through that page off and on for the past hour, and yeah, it's well worth a once-over for people. I'm already not getting this stupid experiment-in-a-syringe, but just having them all out there in one cohesive spot to read through is a nice outlet for folks to utilize for cathartic purposes, and for people on the fence to assist in their own choice-making considerations.

I've never called EMS for any reason. No offense, but most folks never do in their lives.

Are there any US companies making it mandatory that their employees take the jab yet?

Would a reaction of the company- required jab be grounds for lawsuit and workers-compensation?

I work at a bank and they recently sent out an update regarding covid. At this present moment they are not making us get it, the e-mail specifically states it's not mandatory, but there was wording at the beginning of the paragraph that worries me.

They informed us that our safety and the safety of our customers is their prime concern since we are essential and they really don't want us getting sick, nor us helping transmit the sickness. That's not verbatim, but the wording they used to say this right before telling us we're not required to get the vaccine worries me, because it feels like they're planting seeds early and will eventually require it.

We're a small bank and I can't say for all of the other branches, but if people stick to their guns then at least half of our staff, if not more, will quit once it becomes mandatory. I'm one of them. I'm sorry, I do not trust this vaccine nor am I a gambling man on whether or not I'll have these side effects.

I'd urge everyone not to get the vaccine. It's not proven and it's barely tested.

During the phase 3 trials for the Pfizer vaccine, for example, almost 22,000 volunteers received the vaccine compared to a similar number who received a placebo. The vaccine group had only 8 cases of COVID19 afterwards while the placebo group developed 162 cases. That’s why that vaccine was determined to be about 95% effective in preventing the disease, after working through the mathematics.

www.nejm.org...

During the period December 14 - 23, 2020, nearly 1.9 million people received the Pfizer vaccine. There’s a special program set up to monitor adverse reactions to vaccinations called the “Vaccine Adverse Reaction Event Reporting System”. During that period, there were 21 cases of anaphylactic shock reported, for an adverse reaction rate of about 11 cases per million.

www.cdc.gov...

To date, there have been more than 33 million Americans vaccinated with one or the other of the two mRNA vaccines, with similar outcomes.

33 million isn’t good enough for you?

I'll take my chances with COVID. I think I already had it in Dec 2019 anyways. No vaccine for me for a fake pandemic virus that most people don't even know they have and that only kills a tiny fraction of a percent of people in my age bracket. Now, if we were dealing with EBOLA and the infection numbers we are seeing, I might reconsider, but this isn't EBOLA.

When I saw the title, I thought this thread was meant as a place where ATS members would add their own personal accounts. Perhaps it would be a useful function if we do that anyway, in the early days.

I already have been documenting my wife's experience here from the start......

I know about three or four people I talked to about their shot that had complications, most had just problems with arms and shakes like they had a fever. Of course, one guy I knew did die two days after the shot, but that was kind of a godsend, he had pretty bad alzheimer disease and couldn't remember anyone anymore and was talking to people nobody else could see. I often wonder when people see people with alzheimer disease if they are seeing memories or if they can't filter out some kind of being that we cannot see, whether it be a ghost or something like an angel or something. Just because I can not see the person they see does not mean there is not something there, it just means I cannot see what they are seeing. I don't automatically discount things like most people do.

Husband's company hasn't made it mandatory unless you are someone who is expected to fulfill certain job duties like travel.

His company isn't US based though.

He is going to put off getting it as long as he possibly can. It's not that he distrusts the idea of it so much as its newness.
