RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Two South Dakotans died 24 hours after getting vaccinated for COVID-19, according to state health officials on Wednesday.
State Epidemiologist Joshua Clayton confirmed one person from Pennington County and another from Hutchinson County died after receiving their first doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
One person received who was vaccinated who had never tested positive for COVID-19 and the other previously had COVID-19 and recovered before getting their shot.
When working with medical providers and coroners involved with the two instances, COVID-19 wasn’t cited as the cause of death for either individual.
Well hell if I were to die in a car crash it’d still be Covid, so why not use that logic here?

Are you assuming the deaths were the result of the vaccinations?

Oh. Okay. Whatever you need to believe reinforce those blinders and sound-proof chamber.

No. Not really.
I’m guessing hospitals getting paid for Covid patients isn’t a thing either.....
Cool. Any ideas about why Moderna’s 300k vaccines aren’t being used any longer in Cali?

Not exactly. Medicare payments are increased for COVID patients yes. But then it costs a lot more to care for them, with the isolation requirements and whatnot.

California says Moderna vaccine safe after briefly halting inoculations
I won’t be taking it. Neither will the VAST majority of people
A Pew Research Center survey of 12,648 Americans in late November showed 60% said they’d get the vaccine if it were available today, up from 51% polled in September. The Kaiser Family Foundation noted a similar increase, with 71% of the 1,676 surveyed indicating they’d accept a COVID-19 vaccine, up from 63% in September.
Only 15% said they would refuse the vaccine entirely in the new survey, which was conducted by Ipsos in partnership with ABC News using Ipsos' Knowledge Panel -- a reflection of growing confidence in the rapidly-developed vaccine, which marks a long-awaited turning point amid an unrelenting COVID-19 pandemic.
Oh good. Thank God. Whew
