This is a great win even if some children are accidentally traumatised. While they shouldn't view such things, if it occurs it's still a learning experience for them to know what society was like and for them to feel safe now that it has been taken care of. Kids are pretty resiliant, especially if adults they are safe with will discuss it with them. As for internet being out... we lost our power for ten days once due to a storm and the kids went squirrelly for a few days then settled into other forms of entertainment. Hard on parents but I found it nice to see them doing other stuff too, break the habit so to speak.

so, another mystery within an enigma ! His status currently says he is still inside Belmarsh as he was denied bail, but I kind of get the idea that the UK doesn't want to let him free, rather than saying he was denied bail due to it being 'oppressive to his mental health' !

On the other hand the threat of a strike of some sorts has been everyday normal life in Israel for a long time.

I'll go out on a limb with you Cranky, although I am almost teetering off the edge. I am wondering if we see a Space Cruiser land on the area in front of the Capitol complete with 'occupants' ... as in the first official visit of a Galactic Council ambassadorial delegation, an event like that would get world attention and precipitate a massive world wide awakening, especially with many of the world's leaders present in some respect. That would be some 'Sky Event'.
I also think that the whole situation since the Election has been a scripted Show, with people already arrested and charged with various crimes. They are going on with the Inauguration narrative as they have parts to play in the great scheme of things.

I think if something like this were to happen, it would have to be at the door of every major world power, not just the US.

All the Better than Best, just that I have never forgot, never will the Relatives Buried abroad - Le Havre - for instance, who did the best on D-Day, but came unstuck. Cannot help but recall The Falklands. How our troops had no means of home contact because there were no ruddy Phones. However did make a Tie with one Nurse - sent their because she was a Military Nurse, who contacted her husband back here in the UK, by using her Amateur Radio. Great to know for Amateur Radio is my old Hobby, therefore Military Friend also in Falklands, could , via Nurse, send us a brief message and we gave a brief reply.Cannot help but recall how a more Recent Few Familes were each shipped out to settle more foreign arguments. Especially Afghan. For that reason plus,plus, plus, I cannot help but fprever present The Best type of Admiration for ALL male & female sevicemen.
