20,000 National Guard troops expected in Washington for Biden’s inauguration
There are already significantly more US troops deployed on Capitol Hill than in Afghanistan and Iraq combined, a staggering statistic that underscores just how massive the security presence already is.

I don’t know if Q is an AI, and alien, an insider, a LARP, or some other thing I can’t even fathom, but I feel like we are being led into an era of self-governance. That terrifies me, because I immediately jump into “Anarchy” thoughts, but that could be generational conditioning. If I were “over” a group of people and wanted to stay “over” them, I would convince them how terrible it would be to have no one “over” them. “You have more than you know”. Do we somehow have the ability to not be ruled at all?
I am not as eloquent with words as I would like to be, but maybe some of you guys will understand where I’m coming from with this. I think we need to think outside the boxes that we feel comfortable in currently.

I found the transcript for the January 6th speech by POTUS. Just read it over and there is no mention of violence.

"We’re going walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators, and congressmen and women. We’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.
We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

I listened to the speech online. There was nothing that any reasonable person would say was a call for violence.

Thiel has previously said that the contemporary French philosopher René Girard has had a tremendous impact on his life, and he told author and investor Tim Ferriss that he considers "Things Hidden Since The Foundation of the World" to be Girard's masterpiece.
Girard's main concept is "mimetic theory," which states that most of human behavior is based upon imitation. The imitation of desires leads to conflict, and when a buildup of conflict threatens to destroy all involved, they use a scapegoat to return to balance.

Palantir gets its name from J.R.R. Tollkien's Lord of the Rings saga. A palantír is a magical artifact in Middle-earth that is used for communication and to see events in the past and future.
