So now that it seems like we're close to the end of this 4 year ride (although I still have some hope left), I don't seem to be very worried, but I just want to say a little bit about my personal life at this moment in time in order to set up the point I'm about to make...

Right now in my personal life, a little less than a month from my 56th birthday, I am living that "pending sadness" part of life where I'll likely be losing both of my parents, my "baby" sister, and one of my step-parents in the next couple of years. That alone is depressing enough, but there are other things going on in life right now that add to it. And I know I'm not alone in being at this sucky juncture in life - many are at the same place I am...
Having said that, with the country about to swear in literal traitors in less than 48 hours, combined with the sad part of life I currently am in - for some unknown reason on my way in to work this morning I was completely and almost overwhelmingly filled with this strange sense of calmness. I really have no reason at all to feel this calm, but I am! I mentioned it to someone I work with and she said that she felt the same unusual calmness this morning too and could not explain why.

Does anyone else feel this out of place calmness? I hope it's a sign of something awesome!

Does that make any sense? Literally all that needs to be done is for Trump to write a one page memo stating that he grants a full and unconditional pardon to Julian Assange. What else needs to be done that I’m missing?

This University built several alternative vehicles. They worked. No one is building them. The MTSU solar car story has been scrubbed i am seeking it now. This is the best I can do and it is better than nothing. The news article I use to share was from the Local news following them across country as they were proving the car is viable tech.

This school is right down the road from Nissan of North America. Nissan has been advising them and built motors for them.

Last I remember, the record of 200+ mpg in a passenger car was held by a aluminum-prototype Audi 5000 with a gas turbine engine. Nearly coast-to-coast in one tank. That was a while ago, I suppose. A jet engine with an output shaft, like a helicopter....with the greatest power-to-weight ratio. The story about the Wright Bros home made engines is a good starting point for history buffs.

The practible debate about engines is too vast for here. Mostly, liquid fuels are the most portable and easily fed into the engine, lol, and ICE are good because they are throttable. Dont' want coal that takes forever to warm up, dont' want solid rocket fuel to run to the shoppes, don't want turbines because of noise and no throttle....etc etc.

I think it's just my own practical ethos, not to worry about intangible things. It's been said to try to worry only about things within your own sight. Gas just isn't that expensive either.

Speaking of books. In Costco there were stacks of Obama's latest book. I mean stacks. I live close to three different Costco's, lucky me, and it was the same at each. No one was buying them. I don't know what they are doing with them but people were actively avoiding them. Not even browsing or leafing through them.

In 2020. Vaccines are the only way to prevent transmission to others. Vaccines stop one from getting sick. Vaccines are the only way to achieve herd immunity.

Which begs the question: Were they lying before or are they lying now?

So, with that said, is it worth getting the jab for an illness now more then a year in our world and that has a survival rate of 99.98 percent for those who develop symptoms and a 100 percent, 100, as in 100 percent survival rate for those who have no symptoms.

I agree that it doesn't make sense. I don't know what all transpired behind the scenes so there is no telling. Possible optics? There are quite a few people that do not want him to be free again, let alone alive at all. We have seen some truly bizarre stuff as of late. I wouldn't rule anything out at this point.

These are the reasons right here that made me want to help the environment. I can only hope the people I have met didnt write me off as an environmental whacko as I call some of these people. The lack of oversight due to bribery is our main issue in these stories from my own observations. Some one turns a blind eye.
