Let us hope this doesn't come down to violence.

After all , I am still a long haired tree hugging hippy at heart .

Another one that didn't read the OP.
I read the OP and saw your disclaimer about not being an armed conflict but if it were to start it would be an armed conflict because you don't control revolutions they go their own way , especially in a country as well armed as yours.
If there were to be a revolution it would consist of guerilla warfare involving the armed militias in your country who have been advocating such a move.
Innocent Americans would be killed because that's how it goes.
Your thinking is 2 dimensional, as in battlefield. I'm thinking of multi-level. A small start would be a several million facebook and twitter users deleting their accounts. Next would be millions of people finding alternatives to walmart and amazon.
Does that sound like anyone is coming to your house to murder anyone? I'm talking about using the economic and common sense weapons we have at our disposal as citizens. It is the other side that so many people are defending that are so willing to use violence and murder.
The Velvet Revolution (Czech: sametová revoluce) or Gentle Revolution (Slovak: nežná revolúcia) was a non-violent transition of power in what was then Czechoslovakia, occurring from 17 November to 29 December 1989.
Here we go again with the foreigner citizens

I'm sorry, what left? How were the opportunist looters 'leftist'? (as if there's even a 'left' in corporatist USA). How do you know their politics? How do you know they advocated for any candidate or even take part in the political process. What leftist tenets were they espousing that led you to make this determination?
Running them over? I'm guessing you don't mean all the people that drove cars over BLM protesters or the Unite the Right Charlottesville event.
Gun battles? Where was this happening in the name of politics and a candidate they support?
Or do you want to make the assertion that the hundreds of thousands of people that attended BLM protests and some people breaking into chain stores are exactly the same and have the same motives? If so, how do you know this?
Perhaps you missed all the police brutality that took place at BLM protests... even when the protestors did nothing. Meanwhile, barely any cops there for the storming of the capitol and cops escorting people in (thus the indictments now coming down on those cops).

I like it. Our own Velvet Revolution aka a Gentle Revolution. It's been done before:
The Velvet Revolution (Czech: sametová revoluce) or Gentle Revolution (Slovak: nežná revolúcia) was a non-violent transition of power in what was then Czechoslovakia, occurring from 17 November to 29 December 1989.
As much as anything, we are fighting an Information War. We have to fight smarter not harder.
I've been thinking about Hidden Figures, specifically when Johnson says they need old math to solve the equation. And she was right. She was brilliant.
We need to look at what has worked before, reform and revamp, and re-deploy. We need to beat them at their own game. We need to make the most and the best of the new technology... as well as good old fashioned horse sense.

So you’re saying, 100% no violence and that you don’t support any violence in you revolution
No violence needed, but there must be massive action taken.
Massive action will take money, strong leaders, a solid plan, and a method of implementation. Did I mention money?
Even grass roots efforts like the Tparty failed because of all of the above.

Coming from an American who's country has done nothing but interfere with other countries politics for as long as i can remember.
Thank you for that classic line. Always one to remember.
