Your thinking is 2 dimensional, as in battlefield. I'm thinking of multi-level. A small start would be a several million facebook and twitter users deleting their accounts. Next would be millions of people finding alternatives to walmart and amazon.

Then you're not talking about a revolution then are you , you're talking about civil protest.

Revolution
A forcible overthrow of a government or social order, in favour of a new system.

I am absolutely talking about a revolution, and an overthrow of social order. The government will follow shortly after, but not because of guns or bombs.

How are you going to get the word out for this revolution, if you boycott social media. As a media geek, I have a few ideas.

A word of advice, hire some good attorneys before you start. I don't recommend Lin Wood however.

I think I get it, but we don't have the control to push back on the turds. big Tech censorship will continue, and with any luck, they will implode, or piss off the wrong guy at the wrong time.

What would happen if the only ones there to censor were their own? Imagine millions of deleted and abandoned twitter and facebook accounts. They can censor those accounts all they want.

Imagine a Walmart parking lot never more than a third full, because people found alternatives or did without things that weren't necessary.

you don't think Fox news has been hurt by that little exodus of viewers. It hurt enough they noticed it and mentioned it. Imagine if even more people left.

But it will take more than a few people to pull it off. It will take a movement.

You will still go to work , you will still pay your taxes , you will still consume their products because in the 21st Century their products are needed , a peaceful bloodless change to the system is only obtained through the ballot box , any other change will be for the worse.

So you’re saying, 100% no violence and that you don’t support any violence in you revolution

No violence needed, but there must be massive action taken.

Massive action will take money, strong leaders, a solid plan, and a method of implementation. Did I mention money?

Even grass roots efforts like the Tparty failed because of all of the above.

Well. What with the 25th/impeachment, the possible removal of over 100 sitting Congressmen, and a looming questionable inauguration, the US has it’s hand full...

Be interesting to see what round two looks like...

Why am I thinking of Prince Humperdink on his wedding night?

Yes, just as all the burning and looting approved by the democrats was wrong. Both were unnecessary to accomplish the goal.

that's the calm rational approach I think we should be looking at. I think by listing alternatives and promoting them, we can at the very least spread some awareness.

It's a shame there isn't a media source that is just news, and not opinion driven and agenda driven news speak. If we could get something like that, like it used to be in the long, long ago, I bet we could make some major waves in a hurry. I think even the die hard CNN lemmings would like an alternative to the brain washing that currently exists. And that would hit the biggest enemy we have right in the nuts.

Change always has to start at the grass root level. The government is too big an entity to take head on. What must be done is start at local level. Take the counties, then take the state then pull out of the union. They can still govern but only a few states. THAT is what would send a message.
PS. If you aint got the numbers to take the county you've already lost.

So you really think everything goes back to the way it was as soon as he steps out the White House door? Democrats forget their yells for cleansing everyone who supported Trump? Twat says, "Our bad!" and reinstates accounts. Congress looks into the election and institutes serious reforms in states the changed their laws illegally? Parler is allowed to operate again?

Really?

Its more than a little frustrating, isnt it. Perhaps even moreso because of the staggering, incredible potential that is right at our fingertips as a species..

Ive spent pretty much my entire life on exactly this conflict, on conceptual frameworks and the actual technology used in those frameworks. Instead of sharing those too directly, I wanted to see conversations propagate.

Maybe that was a mistake? I dunno. A lot of this stuff is so long term, and so much bigger than one person. But, as some of us have been saying; the true battle here isnt really politics. Thats just a downstream effect that is used almost exclusively for manipulation. So many folks seem to think all the answers to everything are wrapped up neatly & nicely in supporting/decrying corporate-political royalty.

Id say within 1-2 decades, maybe a generation, our civilization is going to look completely different. The three most likely scenarios, imo, are the corporate-political vision, total decentralization & increasingly granular autonomy, or utter destruction. Only one of those has the chance of being non-dystopian.. So I say we go with that one

Good job you lot weren’t this emasculated back in the day or you’d still be bowing to the Queen now.

I mean there is some suggestion that you do, only without knowing it. Still.

I'm getting the word out right now. I'm just hoping people care enough about their country to get creative and not do things that will get them arrested or someone hurt, but it will still take a lot of people to make an impact.

The meek shall inherit the Earth.

The meek actually means those who have guns and choose not to use them until they need to.

Im just sitting back watching all these idiots fight each other until # really hits the fan.

I also have no remorse, respect, or empathy to anyone who is complaining and still has their money in stocks, bonds, and the US dollar.

You have 0 right to complain as long as you use their money. Take away their money, take away their power.

Buy Bitcoin, gold, and silver, or you are the problem.

I realize how the OP sounded. It was meant to. People just don't respond to anything less than what alarms them any more. I also knew that most would not actually read the OP. That should tell you something...

The people of this country have so much more power than they know, if they will only use it en masse to effect real change, but as I said, it won't be easy. It will be difficult. Very difficult.
