Is it really happening this time? For serious? No more wait for tomorrow or the next day?

I seem to recall that in the last big Defense Bill that the
Republicans finally caved to, there was a provision in it
that essentially limited or cut off The President's ability
to declare or enact this exact Insurrection Act?
I could be wrong...does anyone else remember that?

I would expect our military to ignore a bad order, this would be one of them. I still smell a huge hoax.
The military falls under the ultimate command of the Commander in Chief.
Anyone in the military can refuse to follow any order.
However , they may be subject to military tribunal.
True, but if Trump were to give them an unconstitutional order they are oath-bound to ignore it. No?
Every single US military personnel swears an Oath of Enlistment to protect that Constitution .
If the Insurrection Clause is initiated that would mean the Constitution is in crisis .
They would not.
FYI : One does not "disobey" an order.
One refuses to accept the order and only under certain grounds.
Fair enough, I appreciate your educating me on the process and not being a dick about it like others have.

I think the military is fully aware of trumps military record.

They cannot limit it or we can't remember it? I do recall they were trying to knee cap him in some way, but I couldn't recall which bill it was, if he officially signed it, and what exactly they were trying.
