I think that’s an over exaggeration. I can’t remember the last time I walked into a store and saw someone not wearing a mask, and the lockdowns were well adhered to, which is the reason I’m questioning why they’re trying the same thing again and expecting a different outcome.

As for trust in our government; what reason have they given us to trust them? All other politics aside (i.e. Brexit, the Dominic Cummings fiasco etc), Boris’ handling of the Covid situation has been abysmal. If you want the trust, you need to earn it, and Boris has from the start proven a total buffoon. In my opinion of course, but the circles I’m in tend to agree and many are/were pro Tory.

Well I know 2 Scots off the top of my head, my Uncle and Cousin emigrated to America 37 years ago and 30 years ago respectively. Where there are 2 there are way, way more. Like andy says. We get aboot

Did you see kids wearing masks and social distancing in the schools?

Which made the rest of the lockdown procedures somewhat of a pointless exercise.

You see weans are manky wee bastards by design and the perfect petri dish, plus at the end of the day they come home.

And that's our predicament right there in spades.

Open schools equates to no point in all or any of the other procedures put in place to retard the spread of the pathogen, mutated or otherwise.

On the main topic, if the lockdowns are so succesful why are countries on the 2nd or 3rd national lockdown?

IF the lockdowns worked on the virus (like people claim) wouldnt it have burnt out by now?

Instead judging by the numbers the only thing that lockdowns have acomplished is to make some rich people obscenly rich, wreck the economies of the world and puth 10s of millions possibly 100s of millions on the edge of homelessness.
