My assertion is that there is legal standing and damages between states on a constitutional matter.

My assertion is that given the nature and purpose of the SCOTUS that the case should have been heard.

It will not be and arguments not heard.

My insinuation is that this was a dangerous gambit and a continuation of a social crisis that is going tobget even bloodied by not settling legal matters.

I’m not on the left, but Trump supporters have to expect this. The last year and a half was “Trump’s going to win in a landslide and you’re an idiot if you think otherwise.”. I must have seen it over a hundred times on this forum alone. It was stated as if it were a fact so many times it’s absurd.

The other aspect of this is that whether or not Trump supporters fully believe there was fraud, there are some on the left who do not, or do not care, or do but can’t do a thing about it. Only a small amount of those people will you find ones that won’t rub it in the face of Trump supporters because of the taunting over the last year.

The plus side is that out of all those people on the left, there are even fewer who are actually happy to have Biden is a president, so it shouldn’t sting as bad as they’re rubbing it in.

Well as I've said before, from here on out every president will be impeached and every election will be contested. Graceful resignation is a thing of the past now; politically it's going to be scorched-earth cutthroat tactics by both sides. Abortion as the preferred birth control method, politically speaking.

I’m no expert here... but as far as I can tell, Trump did nothing but arch up a hornets nest.

Okay. The Constitutional relief sought was a hearing before the Supreme Court.

Texas got that. The answer was no.

The arguments were made exhaustively in the motions. The evidence was considered. The same evidence and claims have been heard and rejected in the legal venues at the Federal and State judiciary level.

As far as fears about dangerous gambits and civil wars ... well, we've had that before. Violence was always been a thread in our history. The Whiskey Reblelion, Civil War, Civil Rights skirmishes in the 60s ...

The lie here is that we have ever been one nation under ... anything.

We are sovereign states that have agreed to be bound by a contract. It's never been peaceful.

This won't be either.

It certainly is a sad outcome for America.

The Supreme Court has ruled and it is what it is.

That being said, we're an extremely divided America and the leftist gloating are only further inflamming that.

However, I'm glad my State stood up agaisnt the hoard.

Either or, Establishment and Progressive politics now run this Country, welcome back Obama 2.0, M.E. wars and the flooding of immigrants into our Nation, the rise of the welfare class and the ultimate finale on Americas diminishing power.

With Trump now out of the way, Chinas rise is all but assured, within two years, Taiwan will be taken.
