On another thread I believe I mentioned that these Mylar types of balloons can be customized. So it is quite possible there is a graphic on one side and blank on the other side. Which then could mean that the only one side of the balloon that has the printed Batman graphic was not facing the camera when the pic was taken. The pic may be the blank side.

As an example to illustrate and using the circular balloon design.... here is a company that customizes Mylar balloons. There are all kinds of options to put on blank balloons. Including uploading your own graphics.

That is called jpeg artifact....not tampering. It could be tampered with prior to converting to jpeg. But what you are seeing is a jpeg artifact.
