Yea that is a silver lining, but I believe it was important enough to grant the injunction, that appears where politics intervened.

An injunction was all they were asking for, so it was denied in whole. They never filed a writ of certiorari.

I made a racist assumption? I didnt even explain why I believe the Republican Party would be extinct. So of course, YOU assumed my thinking was about race, pull the race card and call ME the racist when in fact its quite obvious that your unqualified assumption means YOU are the racist.......oh, but no, if you are NOT white then of course you Cant be a racist. Your whole line of illogic is one, (only one) of the reasons I utterly detest half the population of this so-called country.

The extinction of the Republican party has nothing to do with race.......it has everthing to do with the inevitable ascendancy of the One Party State! And it will be a Democrat One Party. Republicans are becoming exdtinct because its becoming ever more difficult to make a policy distinction between the Republicans and the Democrats. Romney is the perfect example! He's a Democrat in a Republican suit! As that becomes more evident, the Republicans go extinct because their base will simply cease to show up to vote.

No. But the country would be in a world of hurt.

What makes you think SCOTUS will consider the case, much less throw out the results of state's elections? Any indications that might happen?

With your method of logic. If someone pick pockets you and the criminal is caught on film and in the act by the police. Is now your wallet fairly the property of the thief?

Argument by analogy. Works for me.

I'm 100% convince now.

When the Supreme Court tosses this latest legal charade will that be enough for you people? Will you then have the evidence you need to see that Trump's 'legal' challenge of the election is nothing more than a scam to raise money from the imbecilic and deluded? I hope everyone associated with these frivolous filings are censured/prosecuted.

Pennsylvania passed its mail-in voting bill in 2019.

There was no coronavirus then.

Missouri and 16 other states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia) just filed an Amici brief in the Texas case.

Note, this isn't the same as these states joining Texas as Plaintiffs. They are filing as friends of the court.

When the SCOTUS made the Dred Scott decision, was the the final word on slavery?

When the Mueller Report came out, was the end of things in regards to Trump's presidency?

I think you know. As far as I am concerned, Biden is not the legitimate president and will not be the legitimate president, and when Comma-LA takes over, she has even less legitimacy.

And for the record, Obama was president for two terms as much as I disliked that.

Your link is is broken, too. I hate how ATS truncates long links.

This link to the filing should work:

My stupid Android wants to download it. It won't let me just click and have it open up in the browser.

At any rate, CNN is very angry about this Texas lawsuit and all the other states joining in to support it.

That by itself is a good sign!

From what I have read the PA case not being heard by the SCOTUS is good because all states need to be certified in order for the next stage to begin as Texas is doing or it would have been a conflict. 4 D chess?

So whereas the media will report it is the end it is really just the beginning.

And now Trump, in his personal capacity, has filed a motion to intervene in the case. Unlike the states that filed an Amici brief, Trump is asking the Court for permission to join Texas as a plaintiff.

17 states now standing behind Texas.

Option 1:
Supreme Court refuses to hear the case.

Worst and Likely outcome:
Civil war, the US splits in 2.

Option 2:
Supreme Court hears the case, dismisses it.

Worst and Likely outcome:
Civil war, the US splits in 2.

Option 3:

Supreme Court hears the case, finds for Texas, Trump gets re-elected via the House of Representatives.

Worst and Likely outcome:
Civil war, the US splits in 2.

Not looking good for the USA.
