Yes, Trump lost because more people voted against him. If Biden was against someone more competant he wouldn't have won. If Trump was against anyone but Hillary, he wouldn't have won, I doubt anything could have saved Trump's rump this time round though...

I'm not being obtuse, you're oversinplifying what I'm saying. I'm not saying 80 million voted against Trump. I'm saying that had a lot to do with his defeat. I'm saying that a lot of people voted for Biden because he wasn't Trump (I call it the Trump Effect). But alongside that you have Dems that voted the party line, Reps that voted against Trump and people that, for some unknown reason, actually liked Biden for President.

I don't think Biden would have won any other year.

Do you have some sort of insider info about Governor Kemp? He's the Governor of a sovereign state, why should he kowtow to a soon-to-be ex-Vice President?
