Staten Island emergency field hospital ‘up and running,’ accepts first patient

“Staten Island has such an issue that it has triggered a hospital capacity issue and the hospitals have contacted us and they say they need emergency beds on Staten Island.”

I don't blame them for being cautious, the news was very fear inducing.
An epidemic on an island could get ugly fast.
Initial caution was pretty natural.

And they are also standing next to a long building of which the wind whips against, meaning that first guy in line that just sneezed exposed all the others. Just being outside doesn't make your breath dissapear. Obviously it will dissipate quicker barring the right conditions.

Still havent seen many shaved faces, heads, or eyebrows. Very few are wearing goggles, most are still wearing face coverings that are somehow considered masks. Noone has asked for their local walmarts to decommission it's air conditioning system. It's like noone even cares.

I guess when the government option is a cloth mask with 2% impedance until the 1/2 hr it takes to clog up due to moisture at which point all of the air slips around your mask, but you breathe it deeper into your lungs. How could anyone take it serious.

What about the aerodynamics of the mask forcing the air up over your face which makes it hover longer than if you were to sneeze on your sleeve towards the ground. Ceryainly kerping it sirborne longer exposes others?
