Want to make sure I understand this because I never followed this case. So, the dude with the assault rifle got attacked by a skateboard, and he thought the reasonable response to an attack with a skateboard, was a few bullets from an assault rifle?

God, you guys are such cowards. LOL

Yeah he killed two people who were not armed. Had he not had a gun no one would have died that night. Several people here think its ok to shoot unarmed people if you feel threatened. If I shot everyone i felt threatened by I would be in jail too. I got in quite a few bar fights especially in the military that doesnt give me the right to shoot you and claim self defense.

That boy murdered 2 people and i truly hope he spends the rest of his life in jail so he wont kill any one else.

What kind of weak, pathetic, coward gets beaten down with a skateboard and feels the need to murder 2 people?

This is a dangerous mindset and the kid needs to face 2 life sentence.

I'd disown him if he was my kid. Only a coward would condone this kind of behaviour.

Someone attacks me with s skateboard, I'll beat them unconscious with their own shoes. It's easy to act tough hiding behind your guns!

You're the 1st person I've seen speak sense this entire thread. How can anyone think this was wrong.

However had the roles been reversed (the conservative was armed with the skateboard and someone under the antifa banner armed with the gun) they would be howling at this news.

You can crush someone's skull with a skateboard just as easily as you can with a baseball bat or tire iron. It's not what you have, it's how you use it.
Since you said you haven't followed this case, you should take the time to look into it before commenting.

By the way...an AR-15 is not an "assault rifle". Stop parroting the Leftist BS.

Always cute when people think its a good idea to run down someone with a gun and attack them.

Kids being chased by a group, attacked by multiple people, he imediatly tried to turn himself in after the shootings cops told him to move on.

But some nit wits think he should be locked in a hole for the rest of his life, for trying to retreat, then defending himself.

The average brick weighs 6 lbs
The average skateboard weighs 11 lbs
We know that the weight of a brick is enough to fracture the skull and cause death
Just imagine what something twice as heavy could do if pounded against one's skull

If he didn’t have a gun he would’ve been brutally murdered by those rioting communists.

And excuse me if i don’t shed a single tear for the “victims” who in this case are a convicted pedophile and a wife strangler.

And it is a real shame they managed to save the third one’s arm.

Was Rittenhouse protecting his own property, family, livelihood?

NOPE

He drove to a volatile conflict in another state — with intent. Carrying a AR-15 style rifle.

If he sat his young butt at home, he would also be alive and still have a long normal life to look forward to.

Yes, All this "he was only defending himself" is just BS, He should have stayed at home playing COD like most 17-year-olds.

If he's really serious about shooting someone with impunity go fight for uncle sam.

That's not the law and you know it, we still have a reasonable expectation of self defense in most of the nation.

Absolutely!

Some are glorifying this like movies of war, westerns, mafia, etc.

The reality is, his actions of misplaced stupidity, are on him. He is solely responsible for his actions with intent.

NO,he did not bring the gun with him from out of state. That was given to him by his friends he was there to help. If he had went there with intent to kill he would had started shooting from the start.

One of the fools chasing him shot a gun off into the air behind him as seen on video. He turns and sees one of the others rushing him,and he shoots while retreating.

You were wrong about The Travon martin case, you are wrong here too.

I’m not going to argue with anyone who thinks what Rittenhouse did was/is OK.

He is 100% responsible for his actions.

SO were the people who attacked him. They were responsible for their own deaths. And you wont argue because I am right. Thanks for admitting it.
