No in most cases they were just standing there, and dead within seconds upon police arrival..but gwaad for bid if one spare just a lil time doing non lethal restraints, I've view a vid of a butt necked white man chasing a police officer with a sword or some kind of large knife and survived the encounter..
Oh forgot to add he had just offed someone .
Then there was this lady who got into a police car almost running him over, but again no shots fired..jeez where are those cops in situations dealing with Black folks.

I'm not saying it is. I'm just saying that when you have had no issues with a person which is apparently the case here and all of a sudden grandma comes out all crazy ... there might be a health or mental issue.

No one had any issues with my grandma either until she physically attacked my grandpa, violently. It was Alzhiemer's.

Just sayin'.

She then proceeded to say all sorts of things to her family after that incident that just weren't her -- mean things.

Family also had a cousin who went the same way in his dementia.

Notice I'm also not saying this isn't always the way grandma felt inside, but mental issues like dementia bring out things you normally keep locked inside because you know better.

Just because people stay next to one another don't necessarily make them the same anything.

There is an old saying that to "assume" makes an "ass out of you and me".

Plus if you listen to the woman's ramblings she tells you where she grew up, next to who, and what her issue is with her neighbors with relation to her beginnings.

Racism is generally preconditioned and the stimuli or information that causes such can be manipulated.

How can you judge a liberal or Republican? I would think liberals would be less racist but you never know. In my short experiences i had a few racists say racist things after we talked about Trump winning. Had a older lady say racist things about their indian neighbors and a guy throw around the n word after talking about the statues coming down.

Bringing up high areas of black crime has nothing to do with this story though.

This lady should feel embarrassed for trying to demean another family based on race.

It's not an important story but hopefully it will serve as a warning to other racists who wish to make their minority neighbors feel unwelcome.

It depends on what you mean by racism. California is a big blue state run by leftists, and they were the one with a proposition on the ballot to remove the constitutional provision that protects against discrimination by race.

Both were liberals? How can you tell? I live in Chicago, which is mostly liberals, and ive met plenty of Trump supporters. One who was a clear racist.

It's just a bit silly to say one party is the racist party. Usually racism is a bit more deep-seated than politics.

California tried to get its voters to remove the equal protection amendment.

In 1996, California voters by a substantial margin enacted a constitutional amendment reading: “The state shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group, on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.” The Democrat-run state legislature has just voted to repeal that amendment.

They voted to remove it, but the voters had to approve it. The argument behind trying to get it done was over students at universities. The proponents of removing it claimed it allowed universities to stay too white, but whites make up only 40% or so of the overall student body. So whites are a minority of students already by percentage. Asians are the other significant group taking up space.

So I guess in blue states, we see more attempts at systemic discrimination.

And Remember, if you don't vote Biden, you ain't black!

It's okay for Democrats to tell black people what to do and think. Nobody else though.
