Them first...reset, a reset. Back to factory settings...zero...zilch...nada.

A labor party the last thing any of today's elites or PTB would want(unless they could control it, which has never happened), given some of the history that it ends up leading to Communism(cept for the French), even though it what the tech companies are pushing, or trying to control.

But it the sheer fact having a work force, not doing any work, and having them shot, would mean the soldiers would have to fill the void. And when that happens, the army gets a little weak after, an god forbid if any enemy army caught whisper such favorable setting. Sadly, it only the aliens, since everyone holding hands these days.

Everyone keeps bringing up 1984 an Socalism, all the while the author, was a Democrat an a Socialist.

Yea no...can't see it becoming reality even after a huge WW2 like crisis. You can't just take people's stuff away and think that they won't revolt. Not happening without mind controlling tech

Well that is one of the basic problems w Socialism right? That you can do nothing and live a decent life.

I don’t blame your friends. This may have been the first significant break they had in eons and many people have tough jobs.

The other extreme, working like a dog and having no life in a capitalist govt is also not good; it’s like another form of slavery/indentured servitude. We gotta find some balance somewhere

The negative impact, I would say would be for the Upper middle class and perhaps slightly below that, who will bear the burden and pay for most of it.

The shift in ownership and how this works will be done incrementally. You will still have a house to live in with services to run it, white goods and heating and the means to provide food for yourself and family. Eventually though your generation and each one after yours will have actual ownership rights over non of it.

The endless grind of the production lines must continue to make profits for the controllers and their immediate minions the governments & politicians, salaried CEO's and small shareholders.

You will be allocated x1 fridge per built-in-obsolescence cycle. The Internet of Things will understand when a new appliance needs installing and the item will be delivered to your home address. Credits will be deducted from your cyber account to cover all costs and in the counting rooms, thieves will rub their hands in glee. You will never actually own the appliance, it will do your groceries ordering for you and you will be allocated a food allowance that allows no choice.

The people who want this to happen and have been planning it for years know only to well that just taking people's belongings away will result in revolt and that is why people are being incrementally primed for the total control system that is to come.

Have you not seen what’s been happening the past year? People are yelling at others for not giving up more of
Their rights. You should look at the compromises people have been willing to make from the lockdown, give it 10 years.

The WEF at Davis is one of the most staunchly hyper-capitalist environments out there.

And here they have gone full Communist. I mean literal Communist in the driest, most academic sense of the word: abolition of private property is Job Number One.

Sources, anything?

The models I saw include taxes on derivatives and similar financial products. It's too much to ask for some basic research, innit?

Hitler predicted a thousand year Reich. It lasted 12 years. The crazies make plans like this, but they don't work out usually, because, cough, they are CRAZY.

They always fail, just look at the Ancient Romans and other ever expanding civilizations, they become too large to control without implementing totalitarianism, once they do the government has declared war on its own citizens and it´s just a matter of time until that civilization will crumble and fall. History repeats itself.

Well, I guess nobody bothered to punch in the web address in that screen capture.

It takes you here, which is just a list of predictions. The one about owning nothing and being happy links to this.

It is, of course, an article about a city where people own nothing but have no real privacy. The author placed a note in the article that says:

Author's note: Some people have read this blog as my utopia or dream of the future. It is not. It is a scenario showing where we could be heading - for better and for worse. I wrote this piece to start a discussion about some of the pros and cons of the current technological development. When we are dealing with the future, it is not enough to work with reports. We should start discussions in many new ways. This is the intention with this piece.

Seems to be just a "what if" piece, but that doesn't seem to have prevented some people from going full blown chicken little.

I'd reckon they are still busy twisting their private property filled pants. First things first! But I always knew we would get there. Maybe it's too early tho, think they'll need another 5 pages...
