Yep. My cousin's oldest ... they all got back to school in the fall and hit three different unis partying over one weekend. She and her roommates all had it within that week, and aside from one girl who developed a nagging cough for two or three weeks, they were all over it just as quickly.

Like Pox parties of old we should have COVID parties. With Pox parties we wanted the kids to get it and get over it and not pass on to adults where Pox can kill adults while kids get hardly nothing. Seems our elders were smarter than us...

I should have seen this level of hysteria coming really when you had all the anti-vax movement with people seeing the vaccines as a worse option than diseases like polio and diptheria and measles.

So when does Sweden hit herd immunity? I bet sooner than later. Looking at the data they spiked back in Jun at 1400 per day but were only doing 8 to 9k tests per day. Now they are spiking at 5000 but are doing about 33k tests per day. If I times 1400 by 4 times test done it comes out to 5600...

So are they any different compared to their last spike period?

Who knows, but I do believe herd immunity is the way to go...

I don't think "herd immunity" is working out as planned, if people are getting reinfected, and antibodies disappear after 3-4 months anyway..there is no herd immunity!

Herd immunity will turn it into a typical flu from the Nuovo one that has made it more dangerous.

I have never put any stock in a vaccine..tbh.

Actually that's not true. Antibody researchers from the University of Arizona are finding that people still have anitbodies 5-7 months after catching Covid. The length of having antibodies will probably increase as most of their subjects contracted Covid in March, April and May and it is now only November roughly 7-8 months later.

TUCSON, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) -- New research from The University of Arizona shows you may have immunity from COVID-19 for at least half a year after getting the virus.

"We have a handful of people that we've looked at about five to seven months after they recovered from the infection, and in those cases, we see antibodies in all of them," said Deepta Bhattacharya, Associate Professor of Immunobiology at UArizona.

Covid 19 Antibodies Last 5-7 Months

I've actually tried to expose myself over and over again to make sure my immune system is still able to fight it off. Not too difficult to do in 85009.

The main reason 85009 has the most Covid cases in Arizona is because the entire zip code is full of recycling plants. At present 85009 has over 6400 cases known.

What happens is that dumpster divers all around Phoenix jump into dumpsters to get recycled goods for money. They then bring the recycled goods to 85009. Get their money. And after they get their money, they get gas in their cars or get a bite to eat. Even if they wore gloves while dumpster diving, those gloves touch the gas pumps and door handles of gas stations and fast food places.

Most of the gas stations in 85009 don't clean the gas pumps. They don't sanitize them after each use at all. And their idea of cleaning at the gas station is to hose down the lot with WATER plain WATER twice a week.

So all one has to do to re-expose themselves to Covid in 85009 is TOUCH A GAS PUMP.

I must say, my immune system is doing just fine and still fully able to fight off Covid. I had it in March and have probably re-exposed myself to Covid 30 or more times after that.

Herd immunity is not planned or caused by government policy. Herd immunity is a natural biological process effecting all herd animals including humans.

Also, the immune system is more complex than your understanding of it. Antibodies are a small part. More important are the T Cells and B Cells and probably more.
