I dated a girl who was a PB model. Never a playmate, rather she appeared in the special editions. None of the girls had breast tattoos, which were frowned upon. And it was considered bad taste and unprofessional for anyone except an actual Playmate to sport the PB logo.


When I was deeply into bodybuilding, similar thing with the Superman logo, where it was acceptable only for the elite of the sport to show the Superman logo. Don’t know how long that tradition goes back but that was in the 90s. The PB bunny logo was for only the creme de la creme of PB models to display. Anyone less than that would probably be considered a “wanna-be”— it simply was unheard of for any model who had never achieved Playmate status to show the logo. Thus, I’d imagine the person with the tattoo described is a model once held in the highest esteem in the PB world, albeit with poor tattoo location choice later in life.

Playboy Bunny tattoos are very, very common amongst the general population. Pure skepticism, even about the body building. I've known plenty of Body Builders from different generations and not a single one of them had an obsession with superman. I'm sure some did, but it's the correlation of strength that Superman represents. I've never known anyone who has worked for Playboy as a model or otherwise, but I have seen plenty of Playboy Bunny tattoos -- in various locations on their body. It was one of those fads that happened, and "went away" silently, but those tattoos are still popular. Pretty sure a google search would return hundreds of thousands of results for it in all different shapes, colors, sizes and locations.

Are you phone savvy? You can root your phone (at least used to be able to years ago when my buddy did it because his internet service was complete crap) and access the internet through your provider. The only thing they'll notice is data being used but won't be able to identify how. They'll send you a cute letter saying please stop. [Clarification Edit: Meaning if it's not on your plan they can't prove it's you.]

That was years ago, however, and I've not rooted any phones since then so I'll have to see what's going in that sphere or if phone companies figured out a way to combat it.

I think he is saying that the PHone CO knows that data is flowing through your phone, but they don't know what data is flowing through..... unless it goes through "the room" on the INet backbone; then the gov has it....

No, I get the mobile method. What im talking about is home based internet if your ISP provided service is cut off. Like, that implies there is some way to still use your wired/wi-fi internet connection at home without access to an ISP modem.

You can use your phone as the modem is what I meant. By using your provider as an ISP. If you have a wifi card you'll be able to use that as your home modem. The only way I know to connect to the internet without an ISP would be to splice into fiber lines. That's not particularly my expertise though, so there could be other ways I'm ignorant about.

I'm imagining a situation where we will have no phone service or internet. I can't see someone pulling the plug to the internet without pulling the plug to phone networks as well.

I can't see them cutting the mobile phone networks as well because that means they lose the ability to TRACK people?

Therefore I'd suggest that ISPs won't turn of the power to their networks because that impacts phone coverage as well - therefore they'll simple throttle down traffic bandwidths to zero on the broadband but leave the phone capacity as-is.

If this is what they do then phones will continue to be able to use EDGE which allows phones to use unutilised capacity at the edge of the ISP internet traffic.

Could have this wrong but it's what my experience tells me. Think of it like getting better phone coverage when you go to MacDonalds because they all have wifi.

As an example, when you walk around London, using an 02 or Vodafone mobile, your phone does NOT just use the o2 or Vodafone network... it piggy backs of many other company's broadband networks which o2/Vodafone pay for their use of. This avoids them having to put loads more mast up. So really phone networks depend on pretty much every internet backbone in the locale to deliver their service.
