After the election

While it may seem odd for voters to cast their ballots for someone who has recently died, if the death should occur after the election, but before the electors cast their ballots on Elector Day, the onus will fall on the electors. Constitutionally, the electors are always able to exercise their judgement when they cast their ballots, though except on rare occasions, they always vote for whomever the presidential candidate is. In the event of a death, the party will choose an alternate candidate for the electors to vote for, and direct the electors to do so. The electors will have to make their own decision if they wish to stick with the party's choice or not.

What I think is notable is that German authorities kept the vandalism under wraps and did -not- alert other museums that there could be a potential for other acts of vandalism. Why the secrecy?

For the record, I've never seen any in these discussions advocating vandalism of museums.

Those "oily stains" look a lot like wet spots created by putting water on them. Funny how that it the damage done. While I know that when historical damage from bad actors have happened in the past, people here usually go a little nuts demanding revenge on those who did the damage, I also would think that if a group like antifa, Daesh, Atomwaffen, or any of the other typical culprits would have left a lot more damage in their wakes. These pictures of damage looks like it was done by people who might work with these items, as well as people who know what will and won't really damage the artifacts.

Something smells with this story.

I really wish at the introduction of the debates they introduced each candidate separately, so we could here how many were clapping for each candidate. Would be funny if Trump walked on stage just enough to start the applause then walked off leaving Biden standing there with one person half-hearted clap.

We/I have seen enough that the D's need to be disbanded followed shortly by the R's. I want an election where we vote for an office with only for their credentials and their Platform. Then as many as the top three if they are over 20% of the votes will have a run off if no one gets at least 50% in the general election. That would be the most fair and if someone is in third they will be able. No more Parties they fight for themselves and not for their constituents.
