If I may dovetail here,

They do not work jobs in cubicles or other confined spaces for hours on end interacting with others.
They were not stuck in a house with others that interacted with shopping carts, people and other contaminated areas.
They were outside absorbing vitamin D directly from the sun and distanced from others for most of the time.
But most importantly, they had to suffer heavy symptoms to seek out medical attention. They may have had low symptomatic cases and ignored it.
