I think a lot of US politicians and former politicians are about to have very bad days.

They have been mobilizing their foot soldiers to cause havoc all over the US for most of the year.

I believe it is about to get a lot worse.

Sounds like your friends in the military have good leadership. Nothing more questionable than routine training.
They should be training for things, like war. That's what they get paid for.

Many of us have been paid for that before.

Speaking of "uncle intel," I've had two uncles come by this last week and tell me that quitting addictive, destructive behaviors, or paying off debts, or doing anything responsible and adult is even more of a futile gesture than in normal times ...and that I'll know what's up "sooner than later or never."

One dropped some 10 day old Scotch on my sofa and said "Drink up, Boy-o! Times short, nothing's true and it's on!" Then he did the ol' pretending to go down stairs behind the couch and was gone.

The other plopped a quarter ounce of raw opium on the coffee table, said "Sorry I didn't have the time or resources to refine it- smoke up!" and then shook my head with both hands as he does, wiped a tear from his rosy cheek... then pulled up his knickers and left.

The weirdest thing was they had both died decades ago, but I hesitate to think the worst.

Edit to add: I, too, had a friend who's pappy was in law enforcement say the same basic thing, and I have an alarmist ex military family member say "Niburu is a comin" and it just goes to show it's better to laugh than pee oneself. How does one prepare for something when there's no particulars given? Fear sucks.

I heard that anyone that comes into my property acting violent will get shot. I also heard that any group coming into my neighborhood acting violent will be confronted by several men that are good men but understand what to do to people who are violent.

I don't think the election is going to bring any discord. When one side finds out that they are far outnumbered by the other, it would be suicidal to try to cause the unrest that I have heard they threaten. Both to them and to whatever party that they belong to.

As a neutral observer (I'm a #JoJ2020 voter) I would retreat to the mountains and watch the Civil War unfold from afar.

More senseless vandalism? More senseless violence? More senseless looting? More senseless maiming? More senseless murder? -- It is all just a stupid stupid path to follow if you're goal is to win hearts and minds. Smart people know that.

So, as someone who has more hope for this society, I'm going to just say "Asteroids".

In all honesty, no I haven't heard about it. Military has too much funding, they're sending them on training missions hooking them all up with hotel rooms.

Do you think people won't go out to the pub because they will be closing at 10pm? No.. they will just go out earlier and more people will gather in the pubs between 6 and 10 than usual.

Closing pubs at 10pm won't stop the spread of any virus and that includes the illegals arriving by boat after the 10pm curfew!
