Since we don't know where you are coming from, why make any comment? The scenario would not be a surprise re; COVID-19, thousands of jobs have already been lost for instance, that thousands more will be lost with the latest regulations is a no-brainer. So?

I've only seen some fringe-types talking about stocking up before the election, but sometimes those folks aren't wrong (I remember thinking the same thing in early December hearing about COVID, luckily I actually paid close attention and did stock up and was prepared IF it was a super deadly disease (which it didn't turn out to be).

Maybe I'll play it safe and buy 20 lbs of rice and some other essentials between now and October

When I was on Active duty , we did riot control training once a year and I assume this is what there talking about it's not uncommon near a Presidential election for combat units to refresh there riot control training.

Now if they were doing something that was actually out of the norm and secretive , they would be on a sort of lock down they would stay inside the training area , no phones no outside contact at all . Again this is not uncommon just before a mission, or a large troop movement but again no outside contact so we would not know about it.

Love conspiracies, but even the entire US armed forces could not contain Martial law in the US. There are 360+ million people......it isnt happening.

I haven't heard anything but I work by Barksdale Air Force Base and there have been fighter jets shaking the windows in our building for the past couple of weeks. We hear B-52's all day but never jets. Conspiracy or not, it's out of the ordinary.

I'm inclined to believe its good case of 2020 ultra hyper paranoia, wonder where that came from? That said pretty sure November is gonna be a rough month, regardless.

I'm pretty well stocked up on everything for this very covid winter. I guess since covid is related to a type of common cold, you can substitute covid for cold.

Now, the oak tree got pissed at me in the driveway and it was really windy and the branches were whipping around the other nite. I knew the acorns had been falling where I parked the car so parked the car just off the branch overhang, about four feet away from straight down. Oops, too close, it looks like the ninety to a hundred foot oak tree was very productive this year and it looked like hail damage on my car hood, a 2020 Subaru forester.....aluminum hood. Three dents in the roof, that was metal, but there were a couple of small branches by the car. only three dents there, fifty two in that flimsy hood. Comp covers it...estimate was 2670.00, Holy cow. The guy said since the car was new and only had less than thirty five hundred miles on it that they would replace the hood to make sure it straightened out...can't use a paintless repair method on aluminum, but with that many dents, it would still cost about eighteen hundred for the dents if they could.

I mentioned this in my earlier post about the military sending well actually president Trump reducing the trips troops overseas back to America so it's pretty well known even on the street what is happening but anyway thanks for posting it it's just backs up what I said I believe yesterday on the post that I wrote
