Doty never went to jail for anything he got up to in the 80s. He was accused of breaking and entering private property, creating and dissmeniating bogus but official looking secret documents, and lying to two U.S. Senators. He was 'investigated' but those files are exempt from FOIA.

Doty has lied and admitted to doing so.Yet remained the go to guy for many a ufotainer.

It's not like he can hide behind "just doing his job" either. When he left the Air Force he got involved in the SERPO scam and while in the NM state police, Doty made false claims and threatened and harassed private individuals. He's continued to make up stories to this day.

Yet, despite sending ufology down a crazy rabbit hole, his more recent rehabilitation into ufology has been ably assisted by certain ufotainers as their credibility descends to new lows amongst the sharper members of the ufo community. Perhaps they don't care and are all 'just doing their jobs' as well?

Mellon man has been full of it for a long, long time. He's been an associate of the Vegas UFO Mob going back a generation.



In 1995 he was involved in the transfer of the Hoff's Project Stargate from the DIA to the SSCI. Which as we know helped prevent 9/11, find WMD in Iraq, later Saddam and also track down Bin Laden too!!!

He is now even higher up the ranks in Woo-Anon.

I did notice Doty around and about. Still no feed back from old Isaac Kooi re Doty either.

If Doty was really accused with breaking and entering how come he was not charged for a criminal offence and some jail time? Just wondering. A lot of stories out there in the wilds and upon a closer look have no real meat to them.

He certainly is a central character though in all thing's UFO. I have reservations re Mr Mellon. Infact all of them are questionable.

Bennewitz lived in Alberqueque which I am fairly sure is still in New Mexico not Arizona. He died in 2004 but did not commit suicide!!

We know, like Bigleow, he has more money than brains. But was he always this sloppy with the fine details? Someone needs to tell him Dotypedia is not a good source of information.

Good discussion where Weinstein- although seemingly oblivious to several key issues relating to the history of stealth and ufology- manages to successfully identify the complete dearth of "Top Minds" involved so far as a key issue.

Although we've been bemoaning the distinctly average quality of the journalists, musicians, co intel bods, politcal operators etc. employed for some time....it's refreshing to hear a public figure WTF! at the fact Puthoff/Davis (as none domain experts/low level academics) would be the people consulting on such important matters.

Fascinating that ATS of all places would take an ANTI-Disclosure posture...

The serious lack of threads and the seemingly massive attempt to debunk what not just US official sources but global official sources have confirmed, let alone the millions of first eye accounts and long historical records of such events.

ATS the premier conspiracy site is itself a victim of its own skepticism... I remember the O'hara thread way back in the day... Been coming to ATS since the '90s and having had a very long break I'm utterly dismayed at the lack of clarity of thought here.

Sure, nice thread... well written... the subject matter though and narrative is excruciatingly obvious.

I'm am utterly disappointed in how the community has developed here... we need real considered intelligent dissemination of the data.... this thread is nothing more than a personal attack on the people who are publicly visible, without a real thought to the fact that much of the data has yet to be revealed, maybe will be maybe won't be... the report is not yet out!

Whatever happened to attack the subject not the person and deny ignorance?

ATS needs a guiding light to bring it back to where it was and I feel really sorry for those that didn't have a chance to experience ATS when it was truly the site of drilling down into the data to find the facts!

Truth is what you make it... Facts though are undeniable!

so it makes you wonder how the named participants would rationalise the risk/reward of being associated with such craziness...

I can only really envisage 3 scenarios:

1; They all genuinely believe what they are saying due to some hitherto publicly unreleased evidence.
2: It is planned to just vaporise into nothing and they hope people forget with time.
3: Whatever they have planned is so bat guano insane- the public will be too busy sifting through the wreckage to point fingers.
