Yesterday one of POTUS tweet showed him turning up to a Rally in Duluth.

What struck me was that they had used a logging truck to act as a wind-break on one side of the arena inbetween POTUS and AF1.

At the time I thought "Why a logging truck full of chopped down trees rather than a truck with sides that would be a true wind-break?"

Will this be a RED OCTOBER if there is not Earth shattering news / prison sentences announced?

I would say Yes. This month is going to be chock full of BOOMs! Its getting to be put up or shut up time. Whatever business they have to attend to needs to be wrapped up before Nov. 3, because we all know that the preceeding months after that are going to be a gigantic crap-show. We probably won't get a true winner of the election till after Christmas, and everything that goes with that will be dominating the news cycle.

The Salton Sea is mildly interesting. Used to be quite a resort (1950s or so) until the water got too salty, and then it turned into a death trap for animals and other life. There are abandoned motels, trailer parks, etc. there from what I recall seeing in a publication.
