The immune system is an extremely complex network of cells and molecules that researchers are still working to understand.

No clue if the masks will help but since everyone is disinfecting everything in sight I'd guess probably. Now that all the stores have set up collection of carts by employee to be disinfected after every use, separate in & out entrances, sanitizer stations every 50 ft the Flu has it's work cut out for it this fall!
Distancing will probably help as well.
I've read a lot about building your immune system. The fact is nobody knows for certain 100%. Many scientist think that it has a lot to do with our gut health.
Flu and pneumonia are currently killing five times as many people in the UK as the coronavirus — while ongoing lockdowns have caused the worst recession there since records began, according to reports.
In the final week of July, there were 193 reported deaths blamed on coronavirus — compared to 928 people who died of flu or pneumonia in the same period, according to the Times of London.
It was the seventh consecutive week in which flu or pneumonia proved more fatal than COVID-19, the report said, citing figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Are you sure? I saw somewhere that in the last month or so, more people are dying of Flu and pneumonia than of Covid.

I have no doubt that people will still die of the Flu, Pneumonia and Covid, but the question is will it be lessened in any way?

Precisely right. What one eats, drinks, breathes, and engages in physical activity, one is.
Never took it seriously before, but you know the old meme - you are what you eat.
The immune system is freaking amazing beyond words. The human race needs to stay healthy (no question!).
We need to learn more about health of the entire body and spirit and mind. Whatever this is is not working for most people.
