Is the Singulaity unattainable?

At some point in our travel though the Universe I believe that a force from the Universe be it an electromagnetic wave from a black hole casting off gamma rays or what have you interacts with our physiology on a molecular level possiblely even altering DNA or expanding our consciousness in miraculous fashion...
Of course I also believe we could pass through something that has nothing but drastic consequences...
But I’d rather hope for the best...
