Windows were broken out to 15 miles, and in one video you can see the closest building blow apart as it hits.

Right, because third world countries with barely functioning governments are never ever corrupt, and always follow every rule and law to the letter. Things don't ever just sit there for years at a time because of government corruption.

Yup. Even without the corruption it's thousands of tonnes of a terrorists favourite material in a terrorrism hotbed. It's not something that can just be given away and removing it safely would require a much larger security operation than Lebanon is capable of either conducting or affording. The country doesn't even have enough food or fuel to get rid of it following proper protocol.

Warlords hold more power than the government over there as they're the only ones benefiting and making a profit from the corruption.

The current Lebanese government was only branded Hibullah by the US as the US and it's allies weren't allowed any input into it's formation. In reality Hizbulah and The Christian Free Patriotic Movement were actively backing and campaigning or the last PM Hariri - the government is by no means innocent or humane but it's the Diab Party that are completely seperate and opposed to Hizbullah.

I think most people believe the current official story - in so much that a shed load of ammonium nitrate was seized from a ship, put in a warehouse, let there unsafely, with bickering going on as to where it should go, or who should pay to move it, and then fireworks were stored next door. A fire in the fireworks storage, spread to the Ammonium Nitrate storage, and there's a big bang.
so where's the conspiracy?
Questions - why store fireworks at the docks? Who was storing them? how long had they been there?
How did that fire start?

We all know what happened because there were so many people filming it - but why? because there was a loud bang, and a massive fire - so people start filming that. Then the fire spreads and kaboom. lots of video evidence. What if the explosion had happened without the fireworks fire first? hardly any, if not zero footage. so to make sure there's footage to prove it was an accident, set fire to the fireworks warehouse first, get attention, get people filming, then kaboom.

so work out who stored the fireworks, and since when, and who knew, and who had access?

even though to all tents and porpoises it seems like a tragic accident, my spidey senses are tingling - it could just be on purpose.

[edit to ad] - reading some other posts - there's implication that it was ammunition rather than fireworks. to be fair, fireworks factory fires tend to have the rockets going off into the sky lots, and coloured flashes etc, whereas there is little evidence of this in the recent Beirut explosion. Could just be the type of firework though.... or it could indeed be small ordnance, bullets, etc.

2,700 tons, of improperly stored fertilizer... doesn't seem accidentally left that way, but corrupt is as corrupt does.

Lebanon needs a government better than Hezbollah, it's no different than how the cartels run Mexico.

One of the "things" is simply a bird. The footage showing munitions/missiles impacting are all fakes. I agree with you it is just sad that some people would edit footage in this manner.

Sadly some die-hard conspiracy sites just peddle this non-sense

Investigators discover underground panic rooms at site of Beirut explosions

Investigators on the site of the Beirut explosions have discovered what looks like the start of a series of underground panic rooms.

Debris and rubble are currently being removed in order to access and search the underground labyrinth which has birthed new hope for the relatives of missing victims.

The panic rooms were found situated beneath giant silo stores which collapsed in the explosions.

Approximately 5,000 or more were injured during the ammonium nitrate explosion on the port of Lebanon’s capital.

Reports stating that fireworks were being stored in Hanger 12 along with the Ammonium Nitrate.

He said the fireworks were supposed to sell at auction and were only temporarily there.

Reports have suggested that fireworks may have been stored within the same hanger that caught fire while welding work was being conducted nearby.

There was 2700 pounds of Ammonium Nitrate removed from a Russian ship and stored in a warehouse in the port seven years ago. In order to produce an ammonium nitrate bomb, the ammonium nitrate must be below 17% humidity, and mixed with a high grade fuel oil like kerosene, jet fuel or racing fuel. Since being stored at a port facility, the 2700 tons of AN would be well above the 17% water content, and the stored Ammonium Nitrate had no fuel oil mixed with it. You're talking about two different things. Ammonium nitrate can and does explode without being mixed with any fuel. There have been dozens of explosions of straight ammonium nitrate. There was one in Texas in 1947, when 2300 tons of ammonium nitrate exploded on a ship that was being loaded.
