It's estimated that each adult is infected with 2 to 4 colds per year, and each child 4 to 6. Per year.

That's over 20 billion respiratory infections a year globally.

With even a death rate of less than .01% we calculate an average of 4 cases x .01% of human population (700k) which gives us 2.8 million deaths per year.

They don't keep statistics on this because there are major flaws in how modern medicine diagnoses the 200+ cold causing viruses.

The Media has spread countless lies and misinfo about this topic and virtually nothing they said has been accurate scientifically.

It was all fear mongering to justify defacing our currency to battle the insane deflation of the dollar and additionally to implement contactless / cashless economic models en masse.

The science about the 200+ common cold viruses has been buried and forgotten, and once it resurfaces its met with scoffing ridicule and scorn.

As for conflating, under the right conditions a cold can be fatal. People with advanced AIDS can easily die from a cold since their immunity is so compromised. Given that SARS-2 is more severe than a cold in some patients (I've heard up to 20%, so let's go with that); however, it is incorrect to state that there is no similarity between infections of the two.

That means that for 80% of the patients who contract SARS-2, it is no worse than a cold... in some cases much better, since so many actually have no symptoms at all.

The comparison does hold well when one speaks of vaccines. Since many colds are also caused by a corona virus, like SARS-2, similar difficulties would exist preparing a vaccine for either. Thus far, no vaccine has ever been developed for a corona virus.

Therefore your argument that the common cold and SARS-2 have nothing in common is inherently false.
