You’re correct about MacDonald. He preceded Harzan as director for 2-3 years. The actual “hanger 1” hanger was located on the property at his business. In Ohio, I think. I was a Field Investigator for MUFON for two years in NC...fifty+ cases. Only two that baffled me. Lots of work (PAPER) to do the job expected of you. All voluntary. Met Harzan once and spoke on the phone once. One of those“last person in the world“ types you’d expect this to happen to—-of course, I did not know him well.
