There's plenty of people who aren't asking to completely remove the police. They want accountability and reform.

And the people asking to defund the police entirely are misguided but also frustrated through years of police brutality and nothing changing.

Do you know of civil asset forfeiture?
Where the police have the legal authority to take your possessions, including large sums of money, if they believe it's for drugs.

People are also tired of cops who violate people's rights on camera or cause bodily harm and nothing being done about it.

We need police reform in parts of the country. Maybe more training and accountability.

This is true, this gen is kind of spoiled. Though I do believe we as humans have come too far to rely on old systems though.
In the beginning I agree with the rigidness in order to progress, though you never transitioned and you are still living like savages.
Couple 10s of thousands years later you don't have the capacity to come up with a system that really puts human to evolve further.
How does a human still have to worry about a roof over their head and famine when you have machines packaging food? Fold-able houses? Sustainable potable water?
It is absolutely insane that any system that has to do with having the basic for humans to advance goes into socialism/communism.
The US$ isn't worth anything, it's not backed by anything but what you say its worth.
Why not have a federal system that prints money ( you already do)
Instead though prints money to pay for the jobs necessary in order for humans to advance,
Online schooling makes it automated so you no longer have to pay individual teachers,
The money accumulated from machines are sufficient to keep workers on the field,
Delivering food and other necessities.
Federal supplies enough funds to build enough machines in order to people actually have an education in anything they'd wish.
While keeping markets 100% free to compete.
I know there is flaw because Humans like to be lazy, however there won't be "free" money. People can't just get free entertainment meaning there will be entertainment but like today you will have to pay for it.

They are having public meetings with our local police department in a town of 100,000. There has been 1 - count 'em! 1 complaint of excessive force being used in the last 5 years. There are plenty of Black officers yet all they can say is the police need more diversity. Why are they bothering one of the few government departments that actually has been doing it's job and doing it very well? It's a chance for wannabe "community leaders"to stand before the crowd and make the same ridiculous assertions that the police are out of control, unresponsive the community and lack diversity. Despite none of those charges having any merit at all. It's nothing more than a chance for ego-driven people to grab the mic and pretend they are heroes for 10 minutes.

The police we have now state to state city by city town by town, are regular people living paycheck to paycheck with varying political opinions.


The people behind this crap need a gestapo to grow stronger.
