There's plenty of people who aren't asking to completely remove the police. They want accountability and reform.

And the people asking to defund the police entirely are misguided but also frustrated through years of police brutality and nothing changing.

Do you know of civil asset forfeiture?
Where the police have the legal authority to take your possessions, including large sums of money, if they believe it's for drugs.

People are also tired of cops who violate people's rights on camera or cause bodily harm and nothing being done about it.

We need police reform in parts of the country. Maybe more training and accountability.

One way or another you will put your head down and obey the law , Whether that law comes from the current Police or a Reformed-Retrained Police or even a Federal Militarized national Police force .

The Government Socialist or Capitalist depend on the Police to uphold the law and control the people keeping us from falling into Chaos , but you cant forget that Police are human beings just like normal citizens they get frustrated , hungry , horney , greedy they are weak to money and corruptible by power just like any other Human Being .

Now whether we keep the current Police or build a new police force , they will always be corrupt , they will always be heavy handed and they will always target People low on the economic ladder because some people low on the ladder sale and take drugs they kill each other , they rape steal and just all around live criminal life styles and it has nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with Economic and Geographical circumstance.

I came up with a similar conclusion/theory. They're inciting all of this Police Vs Us violence in order for the general public to BEG for the National Guard/military/government to step in, essentially completing part of their plan for them. I've seen countless of people in the YouTube comments of protest videos and the like literally begging for the military to "deal" with the protesters, even being okay with the military killing some of them. These dumb f#### are playing right into their chess game indeed.

Meanwhile in Mexico 😛

Anytime violence or burglary or vandalism is committed against a liberal, or a member of a liberals family, Who do they call?

THE POLICE.

Anyone actually supporting this de-funding drivel, test-trial it in your OWN neighborhoods, leave everyone else's alone.

And when your neighborhoods go to complete s# in a hand basket, I reserve the right to mock, belittle and flat out laugh my ass off at your undeniable stupidity. Humans & their willpower alone don't keep peace, law enforcers (cops) do a BIG amount of legwork you don't.

I'm a Government worker protected by a union. What exactly is bad about that? They ensure we all get treated fairly and equally. Equal pay, equal punishment, guaranteed raises etc etc. Without the union, I would be unemployed and out of a job right now but because of the union they fought for us to stay employed. How exactly is that a bad thing?

The Union and what it accomplishes for its workers is not a bad thing , the Union workers are not a bad thing .

We already have a federalized police force going on 50 or more years.
A lot of the military surplus toys come from the federal government.
A lot of their training courses come from the federal government.

For 27 years, the federal government has provided funds for officers to train in other countries like Israel, Egypt and China to better deal with an unruly citizen.

This is what Obama did to the military.
Very dangerous.
You would think people would be happy not hearing about ISIS everyday.

Never underestimate the general dumb public.

You know, I think the people who support defunding they police/etc. made a serious miscalculation.

They think that by doing what they’re doing they are “on board” with the winning side - and protections and rewards will be afforded to them.

But, what if they’re wrong?

I submit they are.

The the point of the OP, they’re just pawns. When they aren’t useful anymore, the shoe will go on the other foot and they’ll be in worse shape than when they started.

But, the ship has sailed with these folks - no bringing them or us back now.
